摘要： A photocoagulation apparatus of some embodiment examples is configured to apply both treatment light for subthreshold coagulation and an OCT scan to a retina via a probe inserted in an eye. Upon receiving a user's instruction, the apparatus applies the treatment light to the retina, and applies an OCT scan to the retina at least after the treatment light application. The apparatus compares the first OCT image constructed from OCT data of the retina acquired prior to the treatment light application and the second OCT image constructed from OCT data of the retina acquired after the treatment light application, thereby acquiring change information that represents a tissue change in the retina caused by the treatment light. The apparatus displays a change image based on the change information together with a retinal image.

摘要： A method for imaging involves scanning an anatomical object within a patient and capturing reflected IR light with a plurality of cameras that are separate from the scanner. The IR images captured by the IR cameras are associated together to create an integrated image based on parallax between the IR cameras and the scanner. The integrated image is associated with a separate or optical light image of the anatomical object to generate an intra-operative 3D image that can be created in real-time. Systems for effectuating such imaging may include multiple surgical instruments supporting various cameras positioned to capture different fields of view and to increase parallax.

In an embodiment, a motion tracking system is configured to overlay tracking data over biomedical imaging data in order to display the tracking data along with its associated image data. In an embodiment, one or more detectors are configured to detect images of a patient, and a detector processing interface is configured to analyze the images to estimate motion or movement of the patient and to generate tracking data describing the patient's motion. The detector processing interface is configured to send the tracking data to a scanner controller to enable adjustment of scanning parameters in real-time in response to the patient's motion.

摘要： To provide an X-ray CT apparatus that can reduce calculation time required for an iterative approximation projection data correction process by restricting a range for the iterative approximation projection data correction process and generate low-noise images according to the examination purpose, the calculation device of the X-ray CT apparatus generates correction projection data by performing an iterative approximation projection data correction process for projection data acquired in scanning and reconstructs CT images using the correction projection data. The calculation device determines a range to which iterative approximation projection data correction process is applied based on scanning conditions and reconstruction conditions. For example, a slice direction application range is determined based on an X-ray beam width, and a channel direction application range is determined based on an FOV. The calculation device performs an iterative approximation projection data correction process for projection data corresponding to the determined application range to generate correction projection data.

An indicator is received that indicates selection of a second graph element type and dropping of an indicator of the second graph element type into the first cell. Second sample data is generated to render an instance of the second graph element type in the first cell overlaid with a second instance of the first graph element type in the first cell. A common axis is used for the second instance of the first graph element type and the instance of the second graph element type. Data points used for the common axis are automatically shared between the second instance of the first graph element type and the instance of the second graph element type.

摘要： The present invention focuses on an analytical model for fast and accurate scatter estimation. The present invention uses the Klein-Nishina (KN) formula as a starting point, which gives the Compton scattering differential cross-section for an interaction point. For a direct integration of the point scatter kernel over the irradiated volume, the large number of KN formulae (e.g., amount of solid angle subtended) and rays traced required for calculating attenuation makes the computation very expensive. The present invention reduces the 3D formulation into an efficient 2D approach by integrating the KN formula along an interaction line of tissue-equivalent medium. An average attenuation length was assumed for each interaction point on the beam to reduce the number of rays traced. In the case of kilovoltage (kV) x rays as the imaging source and a small imaging field, with in-field scatter, the line integral derived, can be approximated by a compact analytical form.

摘要： There are provided a method of CT volume reconstruction based on a baseline sinogram obtained by a prior scanning an object in B directions, and a system thereof. The method comprises: a) obtaining initial partial sinogram by initial repeat scanning the object in b directions out of B directions, b being substantially less than B; b) comparing the baseline sinogram and the initial partial sinogram to assess, for each voxel associated with the object, a likelihood of change; e) using the assessed likelihood of change for generating configuration data informative, at least, of rays to be cast in a further repeat scan in an un-scanned direction; d) performing a repeat scan in the un-scanned direction in accordance with the generated configuration data, thereby obtaining partial sinogram, and using the partial sinogram for updating the assessed likelihood of change; e) repeating operations c) and d) until all directions have been scanned to yield respective partial sinograms; f) composing the baseline and the partial sinograms into a composed sinogram; and g) processing the composed sinograms into an image of the object.
