    • A latch lock out assembly for use with an armrest of a vehicle is disclosed. The latch lock out assembly comprises a flexible body secured to the armrest on an end of the body. The latch lock out assembly also comprises a generally cylindrically shaped blocking member arranged on an end of the body. The blocking member will be used to block the disengagement of a latch from a locking surface when the armrest is in a generally vertical or seat back position but flex or bend to a secondary or disengaged position when the armrest is in a generally horizontal position within the vehicle.

    • A driver interface assembly (10) is provided comprising a controller element (15) mounted to a body (16) which forms an integral part of an armrest (11) associated with a driver's seat (12). The body is rotatable with respect to the armrest between two positions: (a) an operating position, in which the controller element is exposed for operation thereof, and (b) a stowed position in which the controller element is concealed from use. The body remains substantially within the profile of the armrest when in both the operating position and the stowed position. The volume occupied by the armrest (11) can therefore be exploited to mount and stow a controller element (15). This is particularly advantageous in a working environment where space is at a premium.

    • An electric vehicle safety control shaft having a specific assembly for reinforcing movement flexibility and an anti-collision device is capable of flexible movements. The assembly includes a handle formed with a shape as required; and a supporting housing joined below the handle, having a side thereof extended downward to form a connecting plate for fastening with a vehicle body, and a front end thereof disposed with a locating seat for joining with a connecting plate. The connecting plate also has an immobile gear for driving another slightly deviated immobile gear at the other end thereof using an interlocking belt to perform back-and-forth movements, provided with a locating spring and a locating block, thereby forming a complete structure with high stability. The invention is capable of bouncing back an original position thereof after springing in a backward direction without causing damages as colliding with hard objects.
