摘要： A computer assisted radiation therapy machine is disclosed. The machine includes a rotatable gantry having a radiation source portion and a beam stopping portion. The gantry is rotatable about a patient treatment couch which is rectilinearly translatable in three orthogonal directions as well as being rotatable about the vertical axis. Geometric and dose parameters defining a prescribed treatment plan of radiation are stored in the memory of the computer. Positional signals are derived from the various movable controls and parts of the radiation machine. The prescribed treatment parameters are compared with the actual positionings of the elements and controls of the machine to derive an interlock output when at least one of said actual parameters differs from the respective prescribed parameter. The interlock output is employed to inhibit application of radiation to the patient until the mistake is rectified.

摘要： A computer assisted radiation therapy machine is disclosed. The machine includes a rotatable gantry having a radiation source portion which is rotatable about a patient treatment couch. Geometric and dose parameters of the machine for defining a prescribed treatment plan of radiation are stored in the memory of the computer. A readout and display means is provided for displaying the geometric and dose parameters of the defined radiation treatment plan. Editing and updating capability are provided for editing and updating the treatment plan with the cumulative radiation dose administered to each portal and the total cumulative dose administered to the patient. Each parameter of a proposed treatment plan is compared with permissible ranges of machine parameters stored in a memory to verify that the proposed treatment is within the permissible range of the machine.

摘要： A robot control apparatus provides shortened operating times for movement of a robot member, such as an arm, hand, or the like, without accelerating the movements so as to unduly stress the robot, by beginning movement of the member in a second direction when motion in a first direction has been decelerated to a predetermined level. The process is repeated, when a third movement is involved, with the third movement being initiated, for example, when the second movement has decelerated to an appropriate level. An inhibit control is provided for inhibiting motion of the robot arm in the event of faulty parts preparation, mislocation of a part, or when an obstruction is present.

摘要： A drive control system, which is suitable for use in a hydraulic machine, is equipped with an electric lever device having a manipulation lever and a potentiometer for generating an electrical manipulation signal corresponding to the degree of each manipulation of the lever, a control valve connected to a hydraulic circuit adapted to actuate a hydraulic actuator, and a controller unit equipped with a main controller for receiving the manipulation signal and computing a control signal for the control valve on the basis of the manipulation signal and an output device for generating an electrical actuation signal corresponding to the control signal. The system also includes a neutral position sensing means provided with the electric lever device and adapted to sense a neutral position of the manipulation lever and an inhibition device which receives an output signal from the neutral position sensing means and when the manipulation lever is at the neutral position, inhibits the transmission of a signal between the main controller of the control means and the control valve.

摘要： A method of diagnosing a servomotor position control circuit which includes a pulse distributor for carrying out arithmetic operations for pulse distribution based on command data given by a control unit, a position detector for generating a positional pulse each time the servomotor rotates through a predetermined angular interval, an error storage unit for computing and storing the difference between the number of positional pulses generated by the position detector and the number of distributed pulses generated by the pulse distributor, and a D/A converter for converting the difference into an analog output, whereby the servomotor is controlled by the analog output from the D/A converter. The method comprises the steps of supplying a numerical value from the control unit to the pulse distributor to enable the latter to effect the arithmetic operations while the servomotor is being de-energized, reading a stored content of the error storage unit, supplied with the distributed pulses from the pulse distributor, into the control unit, and checking the servomotor position control circuit for normal and malfunctioning conditions by comparing the stored content as read by the control unit with the numerical value.
