摘要： A method for monitoring a control system is disclosed comprising a plurality of control units, preferably for an optical measurement device or observation device. In a method of this type, it is provided that at least one control unit with master capability is incorporated in the communication between the control station and the rest of the control units and communicates with at least one of the control units for purposes of detecting status data and communicates with the control station for purposes of conveying the detected status data. In this way, polling for determining the current status is not the exclusive responsibility of the control station but, rather, can be taken overnullat least partially or so as to be limited to determined processesnullby the control unit with master capability enabled for this purpose. A control system for accomplishing the method is also disclosed.

摘要： A motor number setting method adopted by an electronic device including an MCU and multiple motors in series connection with a communication port of the MCU. When performing a setting procedure, the MCU obtains a motor amount of the multiple motors, and scans the communication port for obtaining a motor-number of each motor. Next, the MCU determines whether an amount of different motor-numbers equals the motor amount of the multiple motors. If the amount of different motor-numbers differs from the motor amount of the motors, the MCU sends a random numbering command to multiple motors having an identical motor-number so as to make these motors respectively performing a random numbering procedure for generating a new motor-number. Next, the MCU again scans the communication port until determining that the amount of the different motor-numbers equals the motor amount of the motors.

摘要： The invention relates to an arrangement for running a system bus in a device such as a programmable controller. The arrangement includes a number of card slots interconnected via a system bus with data and control lines, and via address lines. A number of functional units may be plugged into the card slots. One or more of the functional units may be adapted for read and/or write access (e.g., a CPU component), and each functional unit so-configured includes an arbiter capable of managing the system bus. At system startup, one of the arbiters is activated to manage the system bus while the other arbiters remain passive. The functional units may advantageously be plugged into any of the card slots; that is, there is no need to have a particular card slot dedicated to running the system bus.
