摘要： An image forming apparatus that picks only necessary pages up from a plurality of originals and copies after aligning in an order of pages so as to reduce a work burden on a user is provided. The image forming apparatus having a copy function includes an identification information extracting portion for extracting identification information (page number and heading information) which identifies originals from image data of read originals, a selecting portion for displaying the extracted identification information and accepting the identification information selected by the user as a target for image formation, and an output portion for printing image data excluding the identification information from the image data of the target for image formation accepted by the selecting portion. Here, the identification information is preferably formed with code information.

Specific information such as copying inhibition information and user information is added to a document, and thereby it is possible to prevent from affecting other image information different from conventional copying inhibition information and background pattern. Moreover, since the ruled line and the like is formed in black, it is possible to add the specific information or recognize the specific information even in a black-and-white image processing apparatus.

摘要： The objective of the preset invention is to easily determine an optimal method for the use of transparent toner. In order to resolve this problem, an image forming apparatus according to the present invention includes an addition unit for adding, to each of objects that constitute an original document, information indicating either that transparent toner is to be printed for the entire surface of the original document or that transparent toner is to be printed for only part of the original document, a storage unit for storing the object and a generating unit for generating image data by employing the object stored in the storage unit, wherein, based on the information added to the object that is stored in the storage unit, the generating unit controls a number of pixels used for printing the transparent toner.
