摘要： A system for diagnosing a crankcase ventilation system of an internal combustion engine. The system includes an internal combustion engine with at least one combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is bounded by a cylinder head, a cylinder in an engine block, and a piston. The piston is connected via a connecting rod to a crankshaft, which is disposed in a crankcase. An air supply system feeds fresh air into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. At least one aeration line connects the air supply system to the crankcase. At least one vent line, which is different from the aeration line, connect the crankcase to the air supply system. A pressure sensor is disposed in the crankcase or the aeration line. A method for diagnosing a crankcase ventilation system and a control device for carrying out such a method are also provided.

摘要： An engine piston is provided. A first sealing structure, including a first sealing rubber ring and a first annular groove, is provided at a head of the engine piston. The first sealing rubber ring has a U-shaped section with a reserved space at the top of the first sealing rubber ring, and a gap for circulating hydraulic oil is provided between a ring bank, above the first sealing rubber ring, of the engine piston and a simulated cylinder liner of a fatigue testing apparatus for an engine piston. In a case that the hydraulic oil is introduced into the fatigue testing apparatus for the engine piston to simulate pressure loading under a high-explosion pressure, when the hydraulic oil enters into the reserved space from the gap for circulating the hydraulic oil, an inner wall of the reserved space is squeezed and the first sealing rubber ring is deformed.

摘要： A variety of methods, diagnostic modules and other arrangements for detecting air induction faults during operation of an internal combustion engine are described. In some embodiments, the intake manifold pressure is monitored with the intake pressure being read for each induction opportunity. Induction faults may be detected based at least in part on a comparison of the manifold pressure readings for sequential induction opportunities. In some embodiments, an induction fault is identified when the difference between the manifold pressure associated with an induction opportunity and the immediately preceding induction opportunity exceeds an induction fault threshold.

摘要： A first computer-implemented diagnostic method can run in response to an imminent deceleration fuel cutoff (DFCO) event. A second computer-implemented diagnostic method can run on engine shutdown. Both diagnostic methods involve controlling fuel injectors and a fuel pump to make the fuel rail pressure change from a desired minimum to a desired maximum. Measurements from the fuel rail pressure sensor at these endpoints can then be used to detect a fault of the fuel rail pressure sensor. One or both diagnostic methods can be implemented.

摘要： An electronic control unit diagnoses leakage abnormality in an intake system downstream from a supercharger provided in the intake system of the engine. The electronic control unit sets, as a supercharging region monitoring value, a ratio between a first air amount obtained from a detection value of an air flowmeter and a second air amount obtained from a detection value of an intake pressure sensor, the ratio being the ratio obtained when the engine is operated in a supercharging region. The electronic control unit also sets, as a non-supercharging region monitoring value, a ratio obtained when the engine is driven in a non-supercharging region. The electronic control unit determines the presence of the leakage abnormality in the intake system when the ratio of the supercharging region monitoring value to the non-supercharging region monitoring value is larger than a predetermined specified value.

摘要： The pressure in the combustion chamber of an electronically controlled spark plug ignition engine may be estimated in real time mode without specific sensors by processing sensed ionization current data to calculate features of the current waveform proven to be correlated to the pressure inside the engine cylinders and correlating them on the basis of a look up table of time invariant correlation coefficients generated through a calibration campaign of tests on a test engine purposely equipped with sensors. A mathematical model of the electrical and physical spark plug ignition system and combustion chamber of the engine is refined during calibration by iteratively testing the interactive performance of correlation coefficients of related terms of a mathematical expression of the model and comparing the expressed pressure value with the real pressure value as measured by a sensor.
