摘要： Improvements in a less-lethal force device are disclosed. The less-lethal projectile device generally comprising a projectile that is mated to a docking base by way of a spherical shaped projectile ball in a retaining spherical sockets or base. The projectile ball may include a locating/orienting that locates the projectile ball in the docking base. The retaining socket has one or more wings that partially wrap around the projectile ball. The material, thickness and splits in the socket adjust the retention force placed on the projectile ball. The projectile captures a fired bullet and is propelled along the original path of the bullet at a less lethal velocity. The disclosed system results in converting a normally lethal weapon into a less-lethal blunt impact system.

摘要： New projectiles specialized for creating and recovering trace evidence at a crime scene are provided. A wide variety of embodiments are provided, covering several use scenarios—including, but not limited to, home security devices, which may be built into an entryway or other building structure, and law enforcement guns. In some embodiments, a projectile within a projectile is provided, which fires in the direction of a primary impact. A sampler device is provided within some projectiles, which may comprise tracing barbs, containers for analytes and even a hypodermic extraction apparatus. In some embodiments, projectiles have rebounding devices, which may overlap with aspects of the sampler device, for developing distance from a criminal suspect. Other aspects, such as GPS, fasteners and defense mechanisms, are also disclosed, which encourage recovery by the authorized user and deter interception.

The drive band may have forward edge defining a step. The bullet of the present invention may also be received in the case mouth of a rimless case and be partially protruding therefrom.

摘要： An apparatus and method for mitigating the shock front of a rocket or aerospace plane flying at hypersonic speeds while simultaneously distilling liquid chemical elements from the ambient air. The ensuing supercool/chilled air that is rendered as a consequence of supercooling may hence be compressed, regeneratively intercooled & flashed into liquid air. By means of extension, liquid air may be rendered as a direct result of said supercooling throughout the hypersonic regime into space. Also described are the details of an isentropically expanded hypersonic stochastic switch (a singularity), which is mainly achieved via the addition of a high pressure supersonic isentropic expansion nozzle whereby a continuous flow continuum is transformed into a stochastic flux.

摘要： The problem of penetrating through nets and other objects is solved by cutting the object using concentric cutters in which a rotatable cutter having floating teeth rotates concentrically about a stationary cutter having fixed teeth. The object is cut by a severing action caused by the floating teeth of the rotatable cutter sliding against the fixed teeth of the stationary cutter. Embodiments of the invention include a UUV system for penetrating through fishing nets and other objects, concentric cutting assemblies for use in the UUV system and other systems, and a method for penetrating through fishing nets and other objects. A UUV system in accordance with an embodiment of the invention has a concentric cutting assembly at the forward end and a propulsor at the aft end. The concentric cutting assembly integrates seamlessly within the UUV housing and is deployed from the forward end of the UUV, enabling the UUV to quickly and efficiently penetrate through objects blocking its path.

摘要： A device and method introduces the use of conventional ammunitions to the archery/bow hunting industry. The device achieves stealthy delivery of firearm munitions and increases the firepower of standard arrows resulting in deeper penetration into a target. The device consists generally of a cylindrical housing threaded internally on one end for attachment to a firing pin assembly. A firing pin is slideably attached to the firing pin assembly. A cartridge is loaded into the housing until the flange on the cartridge casing abuts an interior shoulder. In an alternate embodiment, the interior of the housing further includes an annular retaining tab. The retaining tab separates the cartridge from the firing pin to prevent inadvertent discharge. A cap or nosepiece may be included to further protect the device from accidental discharge of the cartridge and to provide aerodynamic advantages. The housing further includes a set of stabilizing vanes.
