摘要： In an apparatus for drying solutions, dispersions or suspensions, distributor elements are moved by a central rotable installation between parallel planes. As the planes are not perpendicular to the axial shaft, the edges of the distributor elements touch and stroke over the whole surface of the heat exchanger. A self-cleaning effect of the inner surface of the drying apparatus is guaranteed. In a preferred embodiment the distributor elements are cylindrical.

Adapted so that a fluidized bed drier can be superposed thereon, the travelling. bed drier possesses a heat exchange tube within a frame, the tube displaying a surface increased through suitable design such as fins or ribs, a conical tapering in the direction of the coal feed, and discharge connections located at different levels on a side of the frame lying opposite vapor or hot gas entry, the connections being for the discharge of exhaust gas-containing vapors.

Moist fine material is mixed above a heater with predried and preheated material until the mixture is made fluid. The fluid mixture slides down between and piles up to a level above the heater. A part of the predried and preheated fine material is removed from below the heater in an amount corresponding to another part thereof and is conveyed to above the heater with the moist fine material.

The heat radiating apparatus includes a support member in close contact with the heat source, a heat pipe thermally joined with the support member, and a plurality of heat radiating fins placed in a space that faces a second principal surface. The heat pipe includes a first line part thermally joined with the support member, a second line part thermally joined with the heat radiating fins, and a connecting part which connects the first line part to the second line part. A length of the heat pipe is slightly shorter than or equal to the support member. The connecting part has a curved part thermally joined with the support member. When a plurality of heat radiating apparatuses are arranged in the direction in which the first line part extends, the heat radiating apparatuses can be connected such that the first principal surfaces are successive.

摘要： A drying apparatus for powdered or granular material comprising a hopper body with an electric heater in its center, housing therein a heat conducting fin formed with plural compartment walls radially projected therefrom and a carrier gas communication path provided in the conducting fin, which has an upper introduction port and a lower exhaust port, both connected with a penetrating up and down path provided in the center of the heat conducting fin. The apparatus is constructed such that carrier gas externally introduced is fed into the hopper body. According to the apparatus, powdered or granular material is uniformly heated and dried and heating source for carrier gas is not necessary, thereby achieving improvement in energy efficiency and energy saving.

The replaceable heat transfer module has an inlet floodbox with fluid distribution passageways, an outlet manifold with fluid collection passageways, and extending in a fluid tight relationship between the fluid distribution passageways and the fluid collection passageways, a thin, elongate evaporator envelope. The evaporator envelope has a lower flexible planar sheet and an upper flexible planar sheet, each having inner surfaces located in a back-to-back spaced apart relationship. The evaporator envelope has an upper end wherein the lower and upper flexible planar sheets are fluidly sealed to the inlet floodbox, and a lower end wherein the lower and upper planar sheets are fluidly sealed to said outlet manifold. Mylar brand polyester is used for construction of the evaporator envelope. A marginal area on each side extends lengthwise transversely beyond the inlet floodbox and the outlet manifold to provide sloping sidewalls for containment of a working product.

Preferred embodiments include withdrawing exhaust gas-containing vapors produced in the traveling bed drier from different levels; and superposing a fluidized bed drier upon the traveling bed drier.
