摘要： A system (10) includes a fluid with components that evaporate at different temperatures, a condenser (12) with an inlet (22) and an outlet (24), a pump (14) with an outlet (28) and with an inlet (26) connected to the outlet (24) of the condenser (12), and an evaporator (16). The evaporator (16) includes an inlet (30) connected to the outlet (28) of the pump (14), an outlet (31), evaporating tubes (38), pool boiling tubes (42), and a fluid distribution system (33) for spraying the fluid over the evaporating tubes (38). The system (10) further includes a turbine (18) with an inlet (44) connected to the outlet (31) of the evaporator (16), an outlet (48) connected to the inlet (22) of the condenser (12), and a drive shaft (46). A generator (20) is connected to the drive shaft (46) of the turbine (18).

摘要： A liquid absorption refrigeration system and a tube and channel heat exchanger include: an absorber section to contain a saturated strong solution; a pump connected to an outlet of the absorber section to receive saturated strong solution therefrom; a regenerator section connected to an outlet of the pump to receive a flow of pressurized saturated strong solution therefrom; an expansion device connected to an outlet of the regenerator section to receive a flow of subcooled strong solution therefrom; an evaporator section connected to an outlet of the expansion device to receive the subcooled strong solution therefrom, the evaporator section connected to the absorber section to return strong solution thereto; and a condenser section connected to the evaporator section to receive a refrigerant evaporated from the subcooled strong solution in the evaporator, the condenser section connected to the absorber section to return liquid refrigerant thereto.

A second outlet allowing the refrigerant to exit the evaporator and cycle through a refrigeration system. The first inlet and the second outlet are dual-piped to allow for heat exchange. The evaporator, comprising a plurality of tubes, optionally, space reducers, and optionally, a center space reducer.

A plurality of baffles (56) is positioned at the distribution sheet to divide the distributor box into a plurality of compartments to ensure a homogeneous flow of the liquid refrigerant is delivered through the plurality of ports.

A first gap between a first wall member lower edge and the plurality of tube sheets is greater than second gap between a second wall member lower edge and the plurality of tube sheets.

Another embodiment of the centrifugal compressor assembly comprises a mixed flow impeller and a vaneless diffuser sized such that a final stage compressor operates with an optimal specific speed range for targeted combinations of head and capacity, while a non-final stage compressor operates above the optimum specific speed of the final stage compressor. Another embodiment of the centrifugal compressor assembly comprises an integrated inlet flow conditioning assembly comprising a flow conditioning nose, a plurality of inlet guide vanes and a flow conditioning body that positions inlet guide vanes to condition flow of refrigerant into an impeller to achieve a target approximately constant angle swirl distribution with minimal guide vane turning.
