摘要： A transparent colored glass ceramic, in particular an LAS glass ceramic, suitable for use as a cooking surface is provided. The transparent colored glass ceramic includes high-quartz solid solution (HQ s.s.) as a main crystal phase and exhibits thermal expansion of −1 to +1 ppm/Kin the range from 20° C. to 700° C. The glass ceramic has from 3.0 to 3.6 percent by weight of lithium oxide (Li2O) as constituents and either is colored with 0.003 to 0.05 percent by weight of vanadium oxide (V2O5) or is colored with 0.003 to 0.25 percent by weight of molybdenum oxide (MoO3).

摘要： A cornerlock is used with a frame assembly. The frame assembly includes first and second frame members each having walls defining interior voids. The cornerlock extends into the interior void of each of the first and second frame members. The cornerlock comprises first and second body members mating with the interior voids of the first and second frame members, respectively. Each body member has proximal and distal ends and are rigidly fixed to one another. The first body member has a leg and an arm both extending from the proximal end to the distal end. The leg is resistant to deflection. The arm is deflectable about the proximal end and immediately deflects upon engagement with the first frame member for engaging the leg with one of the plurality of walls and biasing the arm into engagement with another one of the plurality of walls of the first frame member.

摘要： The present invention is a freestanding and relocatable fireplace assembly having a unitary body including: a base, and a firebox, and a flue, wherein the fireplace can be assembled from a kit of parts, and once constructed, the fireplace is able to free stand upon its base on any suitable substantially level outdoor surface. A void is created between the bottom of the firebox and the base, which helps to insulate the region of the surface that the fireplace is placed upon, from the heat generated by a fire in the firebox. The bottom of the firebox includes a sloping floor that slopes towards the front of the fireplace, and at least the sidewalls of the firebox slope inwardly. When the fireplace needs to be relocated, it may be moved either as a whole, or in pieces, or is fully disassembled for easier storage and transportation. The fireplace assembly includes attachment means for a variety of accessories that can be used for cooking, heating or drying purposes. The fireplace assembly has at least some of its parts fabricated form a suitable sheet metal, and non-metallic parts may be fabricated from a suitable fire resistant fabric.

摘要： A removable flame heat regulating apparatus for a cooktop of a gas stove including an inner hollow shell and outer wall which are both placed onto the cooktop to surround an upper section of a gas burner wherein the outer wall surrounds the inner hollow shell. The inner hollow shell is circularly arcuate in shape, and has a smaller bottom opening with a smaller bottom edge and a larger top opening with a larger top edge. A plurality of air passages of openings penetrate through lower and upper parts of the inner hollow shell, wherein the air passages are more densely located in the lower part as compared with the air passages which are less densely located in the upper part. The outer wall has a plurality of air passages of openings which are evenly penetrate therethrough. In addition, a plurality of extensions projecting upwardly are spaced apart onto a top edge of the outer wall to support a cookware. The apparatus improves the heating efficiency of a flame of the gas burner and prevents undesirable heating of a handle of the cookware in cooking.
