摘要： A method for subcooling liquid cryogen that is used by a cutting tool uses the steps of dividing liquid phase cryogen between a subcooler feed line and tool feed line. The cryogen in the subcooler feed line is expanded to lower the pressure and decrease the temperature of the cryogen, and the expanded liquid cryogen from the subcooler feed line is added to the interior of a subcooler. A heat exchanger is positioned in the subcooler in contact with the expanded liquid cryogen. The cryogen in the tool feed line is subcooled below its saturation temperature by passing the cryogen through the heat exchanger, and the subcooled cryogen from the heat exchanger is supplied to the cutting tool. As a result, the subcooled cryogen supplied to the cutting tool is substantially 100% liquid cryogen without any vapor content.

The gas pressure regulator includes a body defining a front portion and opposed side portion and a plurality of gas pressure indicators mounted to the front portion of the body. A bonnet is mounted to an exterior portion of the body, and a pressure adjustment knob is mounted to one of the side portions of the body, proximate the bonnet, and horizontally relative to a longitudinal axis of the pressurized gas cylinder. An energy absorbing device is operatively engaged with the pressure adjustment knob and the bonnet, the energy absorbing device being capable of absorbing energy from impact loads imposed on the pressure adjustment knob.

The adapter structure contains a body connecting with the bottle, a gas sealing assembly fixed inside the body, a fixing member cooperating with a spherical connecting portion of the power tool, and a plurality of elastic retaining members secured on the fixing member. Each elastic retaining member forms an elastic spreading mouth, and a diameter of the elastic spreading mouth is normally smaller than that of the spherical connecting portion, the elastic spreading mouth is pressed to expand so that the spherical connecting portion slides into or disengages from the opening. Each of the elastic retaining members is separated from the fixing member, whereby the adapter structure benefits easy die sinking and assembly.

A valve disposed inside the cryogen space is associated with a first fluid passage through the partition. A second fluid passage through the partition comprises a restricted flow area that is dimensioned to have a cross-sectional flow area that is smaller than that of a fill conduit such that there is a detectable increase in back-pressure when the main storage space is filled with liquefied gas.

摘要： A surgical instrument for use in connection with a pneumatically powered tool having a firing mechanism operably supported therein that is movable between an unactuated position and an actuated position. In various embodiments, a drive system operably communicates with the pneumatically powered tool and is configured to selectively apply at least a drive system generated firing motion to the firing mechanism of the pneumatically powered tool to cause the firing mechanism to move from the unactuated position to the actuated position in response to a flow of gas from a source of gas fluidically coupled to said drive system. A retraction member communicates with the drive system to enable a manually generated retraction motion to be applied thereto to manually move the firing mechanism in a distal direction from the actuated position to the unactuated position.
