    • An adjustable swiveled fluid conduit pathway having a plurality of interconnecting joints for securing a pressurized fluid line in a predetermined path is provided. The adjustable swiveled fluid conduit pathway is particularly suitable for securing a mid to high-pressure coolant fluid line in, for example, a computer numerically controlled (CNC) grinding machine. A plurality of interconnecting joints comprise the pathway. The interconnecting joints each have two ball joint assembly units having an interior pathway for a fluid (aligned ball portion facing ball portion) and a nut housing unit. A washer and bushings are located, under pressure, between the two balls of the ball-joint assembly units. The adjustable swiveled fluid conduit pathway may be extended or shortened by the addition or removal of an interconnecting joint (or link). The adjustable swiveled fluid conduit pathway is secured in the pre-determined position by securing the interconnecting joints at a specific desired angle.

    • A universal pipe connector for forming a connection with at least one pipe end includes a connector body having an opening for receiving the pipe end. A clamping ring, extending around, and mechanically engaging, the opening, features a tightening mechanism for tightening it between a first maximum diameter and a second minimum diameter which differ by at least a length d. An annular sealing element is deployed around an inner surface of the clamping ring for sealing around the pipe end. The sealing element is formed with a primary inner surface and at least one roughly cylindrical coaxial layer of thickness ½ d. The layer is connected to the primary inner surface by a readily severable connection such that, by selectively removing the layer and tightening the tightening mechanism, the pipe connector forms a sealing connection with pipes having diameters varying over a continuous range of at least 2 d.

    • An uncoupling element is proposed for uncoupling vibrations in an exhaust gas conduit of an internal combustion engine, having a screw thread-shaped or annular waved, metal corrugated hose, which is inserted between a first conduit element arranged upstream and a second conduit element arranged downstream. In order to combine a good uncoupling action with ease of installation and repair friendliness, the uncoupling element is configured such that the first conduit element arranged upstream is provided with an annular bulge in the region of its end to be connected to the corrugated hose, that the first conduit element, downstream from the annular bulge, continues into a flame pipe reaching into the corrugated hose, without touching the inner waves of the corrugated hose, that in the transition region between annular bulge and flame pipe a centering surface is provided, and that the corrugated hose is separably connected with the first conduit element on the annular bulge via a clamp connection, while it lies against the centering surface.
