    • A power transmitting device for a vehicle having a power plant and a drivetrain is provided. The power transmitting device includes an output shaft that provides torque to the drivetrain and a manual transmission selectable between a first gear set having a first gear ratio and a second gear set having a second gear ratio that transmits power to the output shaft at different rotational speeds. The power transmitting device also includes a hydraulic torque converter that multiplies torque. Torque is multiplied through the torque converter and is transmitted to the output shaft from the torque converter when the first gear set is selected and is not multiplied through the torque converter when the second gear set is selected.

    • The present invention relates to an automated manual transmission comprising: a first gearshift unit (10) connected to the turbine of a torque converter connected to an engine and driven by the engine; a second gearshift unit (20) that includes an auxiliary input gear unit (30) and is connected to the impeller of the torque converter; and the auxiliary input gear unit (30). The first gearshift unit (10) increases or reduces the RPM of the power from the engine (1) transferred by means of the torque converter by a certain gear ratio and transmits the power to a drive wheel (50). The second gearshift unit (20) is directly coupled to the engine (1) and increases or reduces the RPM of the power from the engine (1) transferred by means of each gear by a certain gear ratio and transmits the power to a drive wheel (41).     • A working vehicle transmission system comprises a PTO device for driving an external working device by power of a prime mover, and a multistage transmission for transmitting power from the prime mover to an axle. The multistage transmission includes a main speed-change mechanism and a sub speed-change mechanism. The main speed-change mechanism has plural drive trains for setting respective different speed stages. The sub speed-change mechanism is disposed downstream of the main speed-change mechanism and has plural drive trains for setting respective different speed stages. The main speed-change mechanism includes a first clutch and a second clutch. The main speed-change mechanism drive trains used for setting odd-numbered speed stages are activated by engaging the first clutch. On the other hand, the main speed-change mechanism drive trains used for setting even-numbered speed stages are activated by engaging the second clutch. During a speed-change operation of the main speed-change mechanism, an engagement action of one of the first and second clutches and a disengagement action of the other of the first and second clutches overlap each other. A reverser is disposed upstream of the first and second clutches of the main speed-change mechanism so as to enable switching the direction of output rotation transmitted to the first and second clutches from one direction to the opposite direction.
