摘要： An apparatus and method for packaging and installing a ceiling fan. A bucket or a kit including a bucket can be used to store a ceiling fan. A lid can be used to cover the bucket. The lid can include opening portions that are removable to define an aperture in the lid. The ceiling fan can include a motor, a downrod, and a tri-lobe ball. The tri-lobe ball can be mounted to the motor via the downrod. The tri-lobe ball and the downrod can be inserted into the aperture in the lid to assist in assembling the ceiling fan.

An apparatus according to the present disclosure can include: an operative head configured to engage an axial sidewall of a turbine blade base; and a mount removably coupled to a portion of a turbomachine assembly by a coupler, wherein the operative head is slidably coupled to the mount such that the operative selectively engages the axial sidewall of the turbine blade base, and wherein the operative head is shaped to impart an axial and a circumferential force against the turbine blade base.

摘要： An assembly system for assembling a gas turbine engine including a support beam defining a horizontal plane for assembly of engine components along a horizontal axis substantially parallel with the support beam. A forward arm is supported on the support beam for supporting a forward portion of an engine component. An aft arm is supported on the support beam for supporting an aft portion of the engine component. An aft mounting ring is attachable to an aft end of an engine assembly. A forward mounting ring is attachable to a forward end of the engine assembly. A drive is mounted to the aft arm engageable to the aft mounting ring for rotating the engine assembly about the horizontal axis. A roller is supported on the forward arm and engageable to the forward mounting ring to support the first end of the engine assembly during rotation about the horizontal axis. A method is also disclosed.

摘要： A housing for a turbocharger includes a first outer surface, a second outer surface opposite the first outer surface, and a mounting hole extending between the first outer surface and the second outer surface. The mounting hole includes a first end opposite a second end and a counterbore formed at the first end. The counterbore includes threads that are configured to engage with threads on a shank of a lifting device. The mounting hole also includes a throughbore extending from the counterbore to the second end and configured to receive a fastener for mounting the turbocharger housing. The counterbore forms a first opening through the first outer surface of the turbocharger housing, and the throughbore forms a second opening through the second outer surface of the turbocharger housing. The mounting hole is configured to receive only one fastener or shank at a time.

摘要： An example method of assembling a turbomachine airfoil array includes, among other things, securing a partial airfoil array within a fixture, the partial airfoil array having at least one existing airfoil extending radially between an inner and an outer fairing and an open area where at least one existing airfoil has been removed. The method includes mounting a positioning saddle relative to a base of the fixture, the positioning saddle aligned with the open area, holding a replacement airfoil using the positioning saddle, applying a curable material at an interface between the replacement airfoil and the inner and outer fairing, and curing the curable material while maintaining a relative position between the replacement airfoil and the inner and outer fairing.

The rotor includes a plurality of rotor discs held together by at least one tension rod, the device includes two sidewall elements arranged parallel to one another, a bridge element connecting the sidewall elements to one another, and a divisible turning ring for form-fittingly holding an axial section of the rotor to be positioned perpendicularly. The rotor further includes two pins rotatably seated in the sidewall elements and arranged flush to the turning ring in order to pivot the turning ring about a pivot axis parallel to the horizontal plane. The bridge element includes a disk, wherein the disk is movable perpendicularly to the horizontal plane in order to be bolted in a flange-like manner onto a rotor retained by the device.
