The method includes providing a wind turbine having at least one blade having adjustable pitch angle that is adjusted according to an operational parameter schedule. A blade efficiency parameter is determined in response to a wind speed and a rotor speed. A minimum pitch angle is determined in response to the blade efficiency parameter and the pitch angle of the at least one blade in response to the blade efficiency parameter is maintained to an angle equal to or greater than the minimum pitch angle independent of the operational parameter schedule. A wind turbine plant and a method for servicing a wind turbine are also disclosed.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of controlling the aerodynamic load of a wind turbine's blades individually in such a way that the dynamic aerodynamic loads on the turbine are reduced and power production is optimised. In general the present invention will improve the overall stability of the turbine leading to reduce fatigue loads, reduced extreme loads during operation and reduced risk of blade-tower interaction. In particular preferred embodiment of the invention, flow properties are measured locally on the different blades or in front of the blades and from these measurements the pitch angle settings are changed, in other ways changing the aerodynamic properties, for the blades through a control unit.

摘要： A wind energy installation having a wind rotor, a generator which is driven thereby and interacts with a converter in order to produce electrical power, rotation-speed regulation and converter control which interacts therewith, wherein the rotation-speed regulation outputs a nominal rotation speed signal (nref). Furthermore, additional regulation is provided, which has an input for an additional power and is designed to produce a rotation speed change signal therefrom, taking account of a rotator inertia moment, and to output this as an output signal, which is added to the nominal rotation speed signal via a logic element. Kinetic energy is taken from the wind rotor in a controlled manner by reducing the rotation speed and is converted by the generator to additional electrical energy. This allows primary regulation power to be made available deliberately by rotation speed variation, to be precise even in unsteady wind conditions.

摘要： A control method and a wind turbine for adaptively adjusting the operation of the wind turbine to maintain maximum power production during degraded conditions. The control system has an estimator module that determines a scaling factor based on the current set of control signals and at least the current set of measurement of the operating parameters. The scaling factor is transmitted to a control module which scales at least one aerodynamic property of the rotor based on this scaling factor. The control module further determines the ideal settings for the control signals based on the scaled aerodynamic properties. The present control method scales the aerodynamic properties to provide a better representation of the actual degraded aerodynamic properties.
