    • A fan includes blades and a motor. The motor includes a rotor holder; a shaft; a sleeve; a holder; and a thrust plate. A radial bearing portion arranged to support the shaft in a radial direction is defined in a radial gap defined between the shaft and the sleeve. A lower seal portion having a lower surface of a lubricating oil defined therein is defined between the thrust plate and the holder, while an upper seal portion having an upper surface of the lubricating oil defined therein is defined between the holder and the sleeve. The holder includes a connection channel defining portion arranged to define a connection channel to connect an upper space defined between the upper seal portion and an inside of the rotor holder with a lower space at which the lower seal portion is arranged.

    • A highly stable and durable fan bearing structure practical for small electronic device application is disclosed to include a bearing block, which has a stepped hub defining a vertically extending axle hole and an inside annular flange inside the axle hole at a distance away from the top opening of the axle hole, a fan blade assembly, which has permanent magnets mounted in a hollow base block thereof and an axle suspending in the hollow base block and inserted into the axle hole and coupled to the inside annular flange of the stepped hub and kept in coincidence with the central axis of the axle hole, and a stator module accommodated in the hollow base block of the fan blade assembly for acting against the permanent magnets to cause rotation of the fan blade assembly upon connection of an electric current.

    • An oil-sealing arrangement for cooling fan includes a fan housing provided with a central hollow pipe having a hollow bearing fitted therein in a clearance fit relation, and the bearing having a front end formed into a forward tapered projection; and a blade carrier including a fitting cylinder with a rearward tapered projection. When the fitting cylinder is extended into the hollow pipe on the fan housing, the rearward tapered projection and the forward tapered projection together define a seeped oil chamber between them. When the cooling fan operates, lubricating oil seeped out of the hollow pipe along the bearing is recovered in the seeped oil chamber and flows back to the hollow pipe via the clearance between the bearing and the hollow pipe without being centrifugally thrown out of the cooling fan, allowing the cooling fan to have extended usable life.
