摘要： A spherical expansion compressor adapted to variable working conditions with a spherical inner chamber, comprises a rolling rotor compressor used as first-stage compression, compression working chambers, expansion working chambers, a gas tank and a pressure control circuit. The pressure control circuit is between the gas tank and a pressure-controlled inlet valve of the rolling rotor compressor, and controls the inlet valve to open/close according to pressure in the gas tank and maintains constant pressure in the tank. A working medium after first-stage compression enters the gas tank, where the pressure control circuit regulates the gas tank pressure. The working medium enters second-stage compression, and expands in the expansion-stage, forming the spherical expansion compressor adapted to variable working conditions.

The compression mechanism portion comprises a cylinder that comprises an internal diameter hole, and a main bearing and a sub-bearing in which a bearing hole that journals the rotating shaft is provided and the internal diameter hole of the cylinder is closed to form a compression chamber in the compression mechanism portion. The main bearing and the sub-bearing have a circular groove that is opened toward the compression chamber side, an inner circumferential surface of the circular groove is tapered such that a diameter increases gradually from the compression chamber side toward an opposite side of the compression chamber side, and a depth of the circular groove is set to 40% of a diameter of the bearing hole.

A rotating shaft provided with a plurality of eccentric parts drives the roller pistons to compress refrigerant in the compression chambers by eccentric rotations of the eccentric parts. A reversible motor selectively rotates the rotating shaft in opposite directions, and a clutch engages the roller pistons such that the roller pistons perform a compressing action or an idle action according to a rotating direction of the rotating shaft, thus varying the compression capacity of the compressor according to a rotating direction of the rotating shaft. Thus, the compression capacity may be varied without using an inverter circuit.

The housing wall includes an aperture and a terminal block is mounted on the housing wall proximate the aperature. The terminal block forms a hermetic seal with the exterior surface of the housing wall that encircles the aperture. The seal may be formed by welding the terminal block to the exterior housing wall surface and the terminal block may be positioned entirely outwardly of the exterior surface of the housing wall and have a concave surface for engaging the housing wall. A cover may also be provided wherein the cover has a plurality of radially inwardly projecting tabs that are engageable with a latching surface on the terminal body. The latching surface may be formed by an annular groove formed in the terminal body.

摘要： A defroster restrains a vane jump that takes place when an evaporator is defrosted in a refrigerant circuit using a so-called internal intermediate-pressure type double-stage compression rotary compressor. The defroster includes a rotary compressor that discharges a refrigerant gas that has been compressed by a first rotary compressing unit into a hermetic vessel and further compresses the discharged intermediate-pressure refrigerant gas, a gas cooler, an expansion valve, and an evaporator. To defrost the evaporator, the refrigerant gas discharged from the second rotary compressing unit is introduced into the evaporator without decompressing it by the expansion valve. Furthermore, the refrigerant gas discharged from the first rotary compressing unit is introduced into the evaporator. At the same time, an electromotive unit of the rotary compressor is run at a predetermined number of revolutions. The inertial force of a vane at the foregoing number of revolutions is set to be smaller than the urging force of a spring.
