The motor-driving section includes a circuit board and a plurality of heat-generating elements mounted on the circuit board. The motor includes an inverter circuit that controls driving of the motor section and an inverter case that contains the inverter circuit. The inverter circuit includes a plurality of blocks including a power source block, a drive block, and a control block, and at least one of the plurality of blocks is separated from the other blocks.

摘要： A fluid-driven actuator system includes a fluid-driven actuator and at least one proportional control valve and at least one pump connected to the fluid-driven actuator to provide fluid to operate the fluid-driven actuator. The at least one pump includes at least one fluid driver having a prime mover and a fluid displacement assembly to be driven by the prime mover such that fluid is transferred from the pump inlet to the pump outlet. The fluid-driven actuator system also includes a controller that establishes at least one of a speed and a torque of the at least one prime mover to adjust at least one of a flow in the fluid-driven system to a flow set point and a pressure in the fluid-driven actuator system to a pressure set point and concurrently establishes an opening of the at least one proportional control valve to adjust at least one of the flow to the flow set point and the pressure to the pressure set point.

摘要： A fuel filter assembly incorporates a BLDC motor and control circuit configured to operate at a first rotational speed upon startup and switch to a second rotational speed when measured variables indicate that the filter assembly is filled with fuel. The first rotational speed is initiated as a default when power is applied to the control circuit. If the filter assembly has been serviced, it must be primed before resuming normal operation. The first rotational speed is significantly higher than the second rotational speed to reduce the amount of time necessary to prime the filter assembly. The control circuit is arranged to monitor a variable which corresponds to the torque necessary to drive the pump. When the pump is filled with air prior to priming, lower torque is required to drive the pump, which corresponds to lower current draw and power consumption at the BLDC motor.

摘要： A fuel pumping unit has a low pressure pump, a high pressure pump, and a drive input which drives the low and high pressure pumps. The low pressure pump supplies, in use, fuel at a boosted pressure to the high pressure pump. The fuel pumping unit further has a low pressure housing containing the low pressure pump, and a high pressure housing containing the high pressure pump. The housings are joined together at a housing interface. The drive input is contained in one of the housings, whereby drive from the drive input is transferred across the interface to the pump in the other housing. The housing interface includes a gap which interposes between the high pressure pump and the low pressure pump. A layer of substantially stagnant fuel is trapped, in use, in the gap to reduce heat transfer from the high pressure pump to the low pressure pump.

摘要： An electrical submersible pump assembly has a pump, a motor, and a pressure equalizer. A motor lead extends alongside the pump assembly for supplying electrical power to the motor. The motor lead has electrical power wires positioned side-by-side in a sub assembly. Each of the electrical power wires has an electrical conductor encased in an insulation layer, which in turn is encased in a lead sheath. A metallic band armor wraps around the sub assembly. A thermal barrier layer is located between an inward facing side of the sub assembly and the pump assembly. The thermal barrier layer is formed of thermal insulation material and has a width at least equal to a width of the sub assembly. The motor lead is free of any thermal barrier layers on the outward facing side of the sub assembly to as to allow heat within the sub assembly to dissipate outward.
