    • An hydraulic liquid system wherein a pump moves liquid from one location to another such as in supplying one or more loads in an underwater environment. The system includes two hydro-pneumatic chambers utilized such that one is filled by liquid from the pump while the other supplies the load, and as one hydro-pneumatic chamber empties, valves reconfigure the system such that the hydro-pneumatic chamber reverse roles. Each hydro-pneumatic chamber includes a liquid side and a gas side separated by a movable barrier with the gas sides of the hydro-pneumatic chambers being connected to one another thereby providing a large acoustic transmission drop across a liquid-gas boundary and subsequent gas-liquid boundary to interrupt the liquid noise path from the pump to the load.

    • A two cylinder thick matter pump has two hydraulic drive cylinders, two pistons supported and driven within each respective drive cylinder, and two feed cylinders. Each feed cylinder is adapted to receive a respective piston therein to pump the matter therethrough. A hydro-pump is coupled to the drive cylinders to supply hydraulic fluid thereto. A reversing valve is coupled to the hydro-pump to reverse the direction thereof. Two pressure switching valves are coupled to one of the drive cylinders and to the reversing valve to actuate the reversing valve upon a change in cylinder pressure. Two electronic proximity switches are supported adjacent to the pistons and coupled to the reversing valve. The proximity switches actuate the reversing valve in parallel with the switching valves.

    • An hydraulically powered multiplex pump having at least three pumping units, each operable in a cycle including suction, precompression and discharge phases, with the cycles being out of phase with one another, whereby simultaneous performance of these functions results in a substantially constant pressure and flow of both the pumped fluid and the power fluid. Separate power and cycle control circuits, which may employ different fluids, are provided. Control valve assemblies, each including two sleeve valves communicating with a common chamber, are operated by the control circuit fluid to condition power circuit flow for the various phases of the pumping cycle. The power end of the pumping units includes power cylinders which may be fluid interconnected at their rod ends so that operations in each power cylinder affect functions in the other chambers, and provision is made for automatic correction of errors in stroke length.

    • A concrete pumping apparatus having a pair of fluid rams cooperating with conduits for delivering material through the conduits by supplying pressured fluid from a hydraulic control circuit to the rams. The hydraulic control circuit includes a pump delivering fluid to the rams at varying flow rates and pressures with a member in the pump positionable to a plurality of positions to adjust the flow rate of the fluid. The member is adjustable by a manual control means and automatic compensator means communicating with the output of the pump with an element of the compensator means positioned as a function of the pressure of fluid from the pump. A linkage means is interposed between the element and the member to move the member at varying inclements as the pressure of fluid is increased.
