    • The present invention relates to an internal combustion engine, and more particularly, to an internal combustion having improved performance by promoting mixing of fuel and air using a fuel mixing means installed at an intake port to improve the flow property of the mixture introduced into a combustion chamber. In an internal combustion engine according to the present invention, a fuel mixing means is installed at an intake port for use in supplying a mixture of fuel and air into a combustion chamber. The fuel mixing means is provided with a stream-disturbing body having a plurality of vanes for disturbing a stream passing through the intake port. The stream-disturbing body is installed rotatably in the intake port to generate a vortex or turbulence so that fuel and air are mixed uniformly and then supplied into the combustion chamber.

    • An intake device for an intake manifold of a internal combustion engine includes a seat, multiple ribs extending out from the seat and adapted to connect to an inner periphery of the intake manifold. Multiple blades each are arranged between two adjacent ribs. Each blade has a first side securely connected to the adjacent rib and a second side opposite to the first side and is movable relative to the first side. When the internal combustion engine operates, suction force generated inside the intake manifold is able to draw downward the second sides of the blades such that air drawn into the intake manifold flows helically and a gap defined between the second side and the adjacent second side of the blade is adjustable.

    • An apparatus for enhancing fuel atomization in an internal combustion engine includes an impeller assembly mounted between the carburetor and intake manifold of the engine with a rotational rotor for impingement by the moving fuel entrained airstream from the carburetor and the intake manifold to rotationally disperse and further atomize the fuel particles in the airstream. An E.G.R. valve operated by the vacuum draw from the engine controls the admission of a supplemental airstream into the impeller assembly radially against the rotor member at engine speeds in excess of a predetermined threshold level to impart increased rotational speed to the rotor member to further enhance fuel atomization and to achieve a turbocharging-like effect.
