摘要： An ammonia flow modulator having a housing, a fluid passage, a first valve, preferably having a precision orifice, positioned within the passage, and an orientation which prevents fluid from pooling in the passage is disclosed and claimed. As an added feature, the device may include a heat source positioned within the housing proximate at least one of a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and the fluid passage. The heat source may be provided by an electric heating element, an exhaust gas heat exchanger, or any other suitable source. As econd inlet and a second passage fluidly connecting the second inlet to the outlet by fluidly linking the second passage to the first passage and including a check valve to prevent backflow. A controller coupled to the first valve is used to control ammonia flow.

摘要： Methods for generating and applying coatings to filters with porous material in order to reduce large pressure drop increases as material accumulates in a filter, as well as the filter exhibiting reduced and/or more uniform pressure drop. The filter can be a diesel particulate trap for removing particulate matter such as soot from the exhaust of a diesel engine. Porous material such as ash is loaded on the surface of the substrate or filter walls, such as by coating, depositing, distributing or layering the porous material along the channel walls of the filter in an amount effective for minimizing or preventing depth filtration during use of the filter. Efficient filtration at acceptable flow rates is achieved.

摘要： An ammonia generating and delivery apparatus generating ammonia by heating a precursor material with a heating device controlled by a temperature pulse controller which receives commands from a pressure controller, and delivering ammonia with a flow rate controlled by a three-stage PWM controller. The temperature pulse controller is used in a first feedback loop to create a temperature pulse sequence at a surface of the heating device. A pressure controller in a second feedback loop provides duty-cycle commands to the temperature pulse controller, while in delivering ammonia, effects of pressure variation to delivery accuracy are compensated in the three-stage PWM controller, which includes a flow-rate feedback loop. The ammonia generating and delivery apparatus can also include two containers, in which the precursor material in one container is charged and discharged according to the capability of the other container in generating ammonia.

摘要： The present invention relates to a technology of reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) which is harmful discharge gas discharged from an internal combustion engine or a combustor, and to an exhaust gas purification system which inputs solid ammonium salt such as ammonium carbamate or ammonium carbonate into a reactor, thermally decomposes and converts the solid ammonium salt into the ammonia by using engine cooling water, exhaust gas, or an electric heater, which are installed in the reactor, and reduces the nitrogen oxide included in the exhaust pipe on a selective catalytic reduction into nitrogen by injecting the ammonia by using a pressure regulator and a dosing valve.

摘要： The invention relates to solid particles and to a method for the production thereof from a flowable starting material and a solid part, wherein the flowable starting material is split into droplets which are introduced along a trajectory into a solidification liquid in which they are solidified in the form of the solid particles. The invention is characterized by the use of solidification liquid and, if the flowable starting material contains actinide oxide, the solidification liquid steadily flows, thereby making it possible to produce solid particles having a greater sphericity and a narrow particle sized distribution.
