摘要： A ladder apparatus comprising a longitudinally elongated step support for mounting between an upper level and a lower level at a forward angle of inclination. The elongated support has an upper end and a lower end. A series of steps are mounted relative to the elongated support. A hinge assembly is mounted relative to the elongated support adjacent its upper end. The hinge assembly includes a pivot positioned adjacent one of the outer longitudinal edges enabling the ladder apparatus to be swung at least about 90.degree. between an operable position and a stowed position. The hinge assembly preferably comprises retaining means for inhibiting the ladder apparatus from swinging away from the operable position.

摘要： A vanity storing step utilizes an L shaped plate, one leg of which is secured to the interior floor portion of a vanity carrying a sink, the other leg of which extends upwardly towards the base of the sink. A pair of plates are secured extending transverse to the upwardly extending leg having the uppermost edge adjacent to the floor of the sink, carrying a pair of pivot rods therein. The pivot rods are secured to a pair of beams to which are attached a pair of legs and a stair tread straddling the beams. When not in use, the stair tread is pivoted upwardly and inwardly below the sink floor to a stored position within the vanity carrying the sink. In a use position, the legs have their lowermost portions reside on the floor in front of the cabinet such that the stair tread is disposed in a horizontal position above the floor and adjacent the front of the vanity, thereby providing convenient elevation for children utilizing the sink.

摘要： A tilt-down tower is configured to rotate downward to avoid damage in extreme weather. The tilt-down tower includes a base plate attached to a plurality of base vertical supports. A lower mast is rotationally coupled to the a plurality of base vertical supports with a lower mast pivot rod such that the lower mast rotates about the lower mast pivot rod. The lower mast is mechanically coupled to a lower mast winch line bracket. An upper mast is attached to the lower mast and configured to accommodate a wind turbine. A ladder is immediately adjacent to the base plate and the a plurality of base vertical supports. A winch is attached to the ladder and configured to accommodate a winch line. The winch line is attached to the lower mast winch line bracket and released such that the lower mast and upper mast rotate toward the ground in order to hold the upper mast below the lower mast.

摘要： An access device for providing access between a substrate surface and an elevated surface. The access device comprises a ladder having first and second ends, the ladder including first and second side members connected by a plurality of cross members extending between the ends of the ladder. The ladder is pivotally connected to a rotary axle extending horizontally from the support surface so that the ladder may be moved between a substantially downwardly outwardly disposed boarding position and a substantially horizontally disposed storage position. The ladder is movable between the boarding position and the storage position and vice versa such that in a first step, the ladder is rotated on the axle by at least 90.degree. from the boarding position to a first intermediate position, in a second step, the ladder is pivoted between the first intermediate position and a second intermediate position wherein the second end of the ladder extends substantially above the elevated surface, and, in a third step, by rotation of the axle in the opposite direction, the ladder is moved between the second intermediate position and the storage position.
