摘要： An equipment tower) having a ladder formed of a plurality of ladder segments each joined to a respective tower segment by a pivotal connection prior to the tower segments being stacked during erection of the tower. The pivotal connection provides a degree of freedom of movement which facilitates the interconnection of adjoining ends of the ladder segments after stacking of the tower segments. Additional accommodation of as-built spacing of the adjacent ends of the ladder segments may be provided by a connecting segment. The pivotal connection may be a rod inserted through a rung of the ladder and supported by a support assembly attached to the tower segment.

摘要： Devices, systems, and methods are directed to mounting an auxiliary component to a tower based at least in part on a force distribution in which a normal force is greater than a shear force exerted by the auxiliary component on a shell of the tower such that the auxiliary component may be held in place relative to the tower without penetrating the shell of the tower. Thus, as compared to mounting techniques requiring penetration of the shell of the tower, this force distribution along the shell of the tower may facilitate mounting the auxiliary component to the tower with little to no impact on cost and/or structural requirements of the tower. Further, or instead, as compared to other mounting techniques, mounting the auxiliary component based at least in part on this force distribution may reduce or eliminate the need for specialized tools, thus facilitating in-field installation of the auxiliary component.

摘要： A preassembled display system is assembled at a first location by attaching a plurality of display panels to a frame. The preassembled display system is loaded onto a transportation vehicle. Next, the preassembled display system is moved to a second location in a transportation vehicle. The display unit is installed at the second location by attaching the preassembled display system to a mounting unit. A receiver box for providing media to display at the plurality of display panels is attached. The attaching of the receiver box may be performed at the first location and/or at the second location. The plurality of display panels are electrically connected to the receiver box. Again, the electrically connecting may be performed at the first location and/or at the second location.

摘要： A boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus is provided. One aspect of the present ladder apparatus includes an elongated extension handle including a slot adjacent a lower end thereof. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus provides a snap-on step tread which can be mounted to a dual-tubular ladder step structure. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus employs a laterally expandable ladder step which can be retrofit onto an existing ladder. A further aspect employs clasps or hooks to attach and retain a ladder step to generally vertical ladder rails in a tool-free and fastener-free manner.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a ladder attachment system for securing a ladder within a tower of a wind turbine. The ladder has parallel legs and a plurality of rungs arranged perpendicularly between the parallel legs. The ladder attachment system includes at least one external stiffener configured at a top end of each of the parallel legs. Each of the external stiffeners includes a longitudinal body having an open cross-section configured to receive one of the parallel legs along a length thereof. Further, the ladder attachment system also includes a load-bearing bracket assembly configured with each of the external stiffeners. In addition, the ladder attachment system includes at least one support arm arranged in a horizontal plane and configured with each of the parallel legs, with the support arms being spaced apart from the load-bearing bracket assembly along a height of the ladder.
