    • A plastic ventilation window structure includes a left/right side bracket, an upper/lower side bracket, support members, closure members, and a plurality of slats wherein the left and right side brackets have a recessed engagement groove indented at the corresponding inner side thereof respectively, and a pair of retaining ribs each having a slant tapered guide facet defining one end thereon properly protruding at the inner wall of the recessed engagement groove thereon. The closure member has a pair of arc and tapered guide ribs and stop ribs symmetrically extending at both lateral sides thereon to define a pair of retaining cavities there-between. In assembly, the retaining ribs of the recessed engagement grooves are precisely located at the retaining cavities of the closure members therein and closely limited in place at the guide ribs and stop ribs of the closure members there-between to locate the closure members stably at the left/right side brackets therein without detaching from the recessed engagement grooves thereof while the slats are pivotally rotated upwards or downwards by a linkage rod. In case of a smaller window frame, the closure members are reinforced in strength and securely held in place without the support members being applied thereto, economically saving the time and cost of processing to achieve the economical efficiency and boost the competitive power thereof.

    • A slat tensioning mechanism is provided for holding interconnected slats of a louver assembly in a desired angulated position. The slat tensioning mechanism comprises a housing having wheel positioning means for rotationally receiving a bearing wheel. The bearing wheel has an outer circumferential flat wall, and hub means adapted for securement to an end connector of a slat, whereby the bearing wheel and the slat rotate together. A tensioning arm assembly is pivotedly engaged to the housing and has an arm disposed at a predetermined location with respect to the outer circumferential flat wall of the bearing wheel. The arm has a friction surface at a free end thereof for applying a pressure on the outer circumferential flat wall of the bearing wheel for frictionally arresting the bearing wheel at the desired position. The slat tensioning mechanism is adapted to be disposed in an upright of the louver assembly. A cap is secured to an end portion of the upright of the louver assembly and has a button in its top surface adapted for snap-engagement with a corresponding groove of a window sill. A traction corner is provided for releasably assembling a pair of hollow frame members and provides adjustable mating engagement.

    • A plastic louver for a shutter comprises a main louver body with end caps which are made separately from the louver body. The louver body before receiving the end caps has open ends, each of which is defined by a surrounding mouth wall and each end cap has an end face which is bordered by an outside edge wall of the end cap. The end caps are fitted into the louver ends such that the outside edge walls of the end caps are positioned interiorly of the louver end mouth walls. This construction gives the plastic louver a one piece wooden look.
