摘要： Embodiments herein relate to structural assemblies for fenestration units including a fastener system for leak resistant structural member attachment. In an embodiment, a frame assembly for a fenestration unit is included having a first frame member and a second frame member, wherein the second frame member engages with the first frame member. The frame assembly further includes a leak resistant fastener assembly securing the second frame member to the first frame member. The leak resistant fastener assembly can include a threaded fastener, a shoulder element, a deformable sealing member, and a washer. Insertion of the threaded fastener into the first frame member and the second frame member causes the washer to compress the deformable sealing member forming a face seal and causes the shoulder of the threaded fastener to expand the deformable sealing member radially forming an edge seal. Other embodiments are also included herein.

摘要： A profile assembly includes two profile elements, a profile connecter element, and at least one fastening element connecting the two profile elements to each other using the profile connecter element. The first profile element includes guide channels for receiving two leg parts of the profile connecter element. The first profile element includes at least one fastening channel for receiving the fastening element. The second profile element includes a U-shaped recess for receiving the profile connecter element. In the base, the profile connecter element and second profile element in the bottom of the U-shaped recess thereof respectively include at least one mounting opening corresponding to the fastening channel for passing the fastening element there-through. At least the second profile element is formed in several parts and includes two shell parts in the direction of interior and exterior rooms. The profile shell parts are connected to each other, yet thermally insulated.

The framing members comprise a side wall and spaced apart first and second walls extending generally normal to the side wall. The first and second walls form a channel. Preferred framing members have a generally "E" shaped cross section and comprise a side wall and spaced apart front, intermediate and rear walls, the front and intermediate walls form a front channel and the intermediate wall comprises a deflection arm. The deflection arm of preferred stiles extends from a pivot position between the edges of the intermediate wall toward the front and side walls. The deflection arm of preferred rails is bent at a position between its edges and extends from the bend away from the side wall and toward the plane of the front wall.

摘要： Examples of glass adjustment assemblies arc described. An example glass adjustment assembly includes a locking member and a clamp that includes a base member with side extensions on either side. The example glass adjustment assembly also includes a horizontal connection member. The side extensions of the clamp are to be slidably mounted to the horizontal connection member. The locking member is to be variably attached to the horizontal connection member. The variable attachment is to apply controlled pressure on the base member of the clamp which is transmitted to a glass panel through an adhesive tape. The pressure applied to the glass panel may generate tension in a frame structure, which reduces sag and allows for thin members of the frame structure. In some examples, external hardware can attach to the vertical and/or horizontal connection members.
