摘要： A corner key for securing channel members to form a frame, such as a gate frame which consists of two substantially identical mating members. Each of the members is in the form of two identical sections joined substantially at right angle to each other. There is at least one transverse groove on the face of each section which will mate with the other member so that when the mating faces of the identical members of the key are placed face to face apertures are provided in the corner key. These apertures are adapted to receive fastening means which tend to wedge the members apart thus creating a tighter fit in the channel member.

摘要： Windows and secure corner assemblies are generally described. The windows may include a sash having stiles arranged on vertical sides thereof and rails arranged on horizontal sides thereof. Primary reinforcement members may be arranged within the stiles. Secure corner assemblies may be configured to be arranged within corners of the sash formed by intersections of the stiles and the rails. The secure corner assemblies may include at least one secondary reinforcement member arranged on an external surface of one of the rails, such as a top rail. A tilt mechanism may be configured to be coupled to a primary reinforcement member and the at least one secondary reinforcement member, thereby providing a continuous reinforcement connection around the window sash. Vinyl windows using corner assemblies according to some embodiments may have increased pressure ratings compared to vinyl windows that do not include such corner assemblies.

摘要： A completely reversible sliding screen door having no top and bottom, right and left or inside and outside orientation, including an extruded frame having a cross section including an inner and outer rectangular portion separated by a web portion, the outer rectangular portion of which has a partly open outer wall, which frame includes head, jamb and sill members connected together by a pair of corner brackets in mitered joints, a frame portion forming a screen retaining recess on the inner rectangular member having a cross section in the shape of a parallelogram for receiving the edge of a screen member, and an H-shaped spline defining a parallelogram positioned in the recess over the edge of the screen member, a screen lock including a bushing extending parallel to the screen door, a locking member positioned over one end of the bushing and secured thereto for pivotal movement toward the screen door in a closed position into the space between the rectangular portions of the frame separated by the web portion, spring loaded adjustable roller assemblies in all four corners of the screen door for mounting the screen in an opening which may not be square, astragal adapter structure for securing a pair of the sliding screen doors together in a fourpanel sliding door installation, and a bug seal secured to one edge of the screen door structure for sealing between the screen door and a panel of a sliding door with which the screen door is associated.

摘要： A combination corner lock and hanger for use with extruded frame members including a horizontal leg angularly disposed from a depending leg, both of the legs terminating in short projections extending at right angles thereto. The said corner lock terminates upwardly in a hanger which extends from the junction of the horizontal and depending legs. The adjoined frame members angularly connect in a mitered junction which is interiorly reinforced by the legs. Each frame member forming the corner is pre-punched to receive the short projections to securely lock the frame members upon the combination corner lock and hanger.
