摘要： A roll-up door assembly includes a first curtain, a second curtain, and a side frame. The first curtain and the second curtain can transition between a lowered position and a raised position. The first curtain and the second curtain at least partially define an internal volume in the lowered position. The side frame includes an elongated body defining a hollow interior, a pair of curtain tracks, a heating assembly, and an inlet assembly. The pair of curtain tracks can guide the first curtain and the second curtain between the lowered position and the raised position. The heating assembly can circulate heated air into the internal volume. The inlet assembly can provide fluid commination between the heating assembly and a lower temperature conditioned space such that the heating assembly can circulate air from the lower temperature conditioned space into the internal volume.

Each of the side uprights includes two vertical metal bars forming respective edges of the slideway, which bars are separated from each other so as to define the associated slideway over substantially the entire height of the upright. A first of the vertical bars is located closer to the wall than the second of the vertical bars. The first bar is in draft-proof contact with the wall and in substantially draft-proof contact with the curtain over the entire height of the curtain when the curtain is down.

摘要： A vertically-opening door installation which is exposed to cold on one side includes a vertically-opening flexible curtain (6) and two risers to guide the respective side edge of the curtain. Each riser includes a lining (12) made of a material which is a poor conductor of heat and which lines the inside of the channel section bar, and at least one longitudinally-extending cavity (14) providing a cushion of air between the outside surface of the channel section bar and the inside surface of its lining. The inside surface of lining (12) is smooth. At least one of the longitudinally-extending cavities (14) may include electrical heater resistance (15) or similar heating devices. The riser is provided to prevent frost and ice from forming around the side edges of the curtain of a goods-handling door which is exposed to the cold.

摘要： A mounting frame for a refrigerator door is disclosed, having a channel-shaped mullion with a front wall and a pair of side walls. Two angle-shaped insulating cover strips are mounted on the mullion. Each cover strip has a side leg covering one of the side walls thereof, and a front leg covering the adjacent portion of the front wall. A lip is provided on each side wall to retain the corresponding side leg. The front wall is formed with a pair of lips to retain the front legs. A cover plate, made of magnetic stainless steel or the like, is secured to the front wall so as to cover the front legs. The cover plate serves as an armature for a magnetic gasket on the door.

摘要： A roll-up door including thermal protection devices provided in the mounting arrangement thereof to prevent the transfer of cold outside air, snow, ice and the like through the doorway covered by the roll-up door, the thermal protection devices including a plastic member in the mounting arrangement to provide a thermal break therein, heating members also disposed in the mounting arrangement, and a heated hood disposed over the support roller on which the door is rolled up into in the opened position thereof. The plastic member can have a snap-on construction to facilitate the assembling thereof, and also for the removal thereof in the event replacement is necessary. The roll-up door is provided with a direct drive gearing arrangement disposed between the motor gear of the roll-up and roll-down mechanism and the support roller gear to avoid the building up of forces therethrough usually caused when the support roller becomes fixed in place or difficult to rotate due to cold weather conditions. Preferably, the mounting arrangement also includes a wind bar and weather sealing fins to prevent outside wind, rain, snow and the like from passing therethrough into the doorway.
