摘要： The link assembly constitutes a mechanical connection between a cabinet door (108) and a toe kick plate (112) of the cabinet with both panels being hingedly attached to the same cabinet sidewall (114). The link assembly causes the toe kick plate (112) to move in synchronization with the movement of the door (108) and, when the cabinet door (108) is opened, the link causes the toe kick plate (112) to move into a position underneath the door (108). The link assembly pivots and self-adjusts dimensionally as required throughout the range of movement of the two hinged panels. The link assembly incorporates a resiliently biased over-center mechanism which urges the door (108) to remain in the open position until closed intentionally. The link assembly provides dual-axes adjustability for, and also supports the weight of, the toe kick plate free-swinging edge (112a).

摘要： Electro-mechanical and electronically controlled access devices are described for controlling access to a building, premises or area in a secure manner such that a subject who is deemed ineligible for access will be barred entry and may be optionally retained. The devices can contain multiple rotatable door panels, which can be positioned behind one another. The door panels can be controlled by mechanized arms or other control devices in order to control the passage through the device. The direction of flow through a device according to these embodiments is electronically controlled and may be changed at any point in time. At any instant in time, the flow through the device is unidirectional. Multiple devices can be stacked together to form clusters, which can be controlled according to traffic, time of day, or other factors.

摘要： A high-pressure mine door assembly for use in mine shafts, the door assembly configured with opposing wings, which enable the door assembly to open and close quickly. The assembly includes a major hub and a minor hub positioned at or above the cap of the door assembly and coupled together via a connecting bar. A drive mechanism is coupled to the cap and the connecting bar, which facilitates the opening and closing of the wings of the door assembly. The door assembly is configured in a 12-6 pitch orientation, requiring only a ⅔ rotation of the wings to fully open the door assembly to. Such a configuration also negates the effect of air pressure on operation of the door assembly, regardless of the direction of the airflow, with the airflow assisting one wing in opening and the other in closing.
