    • The door lock apparatus of the invention includes: a latch mechanism; a lock mechanism having a link 35 that can move the latch mechanism to an unlock position and a lock position, and a lock plate 50 that moves the link 35; a key-operation-force transfer mechanism (55, 61, 68) that transfers an operation force of a key cylinder 58 to the lock plate 50 of the lock mechanism; and a housing (11, 21) in which at least the lock mechanism and the key-operation-force transfer mechanism are accommodated. The door lock apparatus further includes positioning means (15b, 66) that positions the key-operation-force transfer mechanism (55, 61, 68) in a neutral state corresponding to a neutral position of the key cylinder 58 with respect to the housing (11, 21).

    • In safes and security doors of the swing and slide type the door edge slides in and out of a slot in order to prevent it being pried open. The slide motion is supplied by a rotatable handle on the door itself. The action of sliding into the slot is accompanied by the extension of multiple bolts which shoot from the door edge into keepers in the safe body or door frame. The rotation of the handle is coupled to a cam which retracts the bolts first and slides the door to the position where it is ready to open in a defined sequence. Likewise, the door swings shut, contacts a landing surface, slides into the slot and the bolts extend. A variant for a door with slots which rides on a group of pins is described. The cam is locked by a key or digital lock.

    • An electric door lock includes a rotatable member, a driving unit, and a manual operating member. The rotatable member is rotatable in first and second rotational directions and is provided with a first protrusion. The driving unit is coupled to the rotatable member, and operable so as to drive rotation of the rotatable member. The manual operating member is rotatable between locking and unlocking positions and is provided with a second protrusion. The first protrusion pushes the second protrusion to permit rotation of the manual operating member between the locking and unlocking positions when the rotatable member is driven by the driving unit to rotate in the first and second rotational directions, respectively. The second protrusion slides over the first protrusion when the manual operating member is driven to rotate between the locking and unlocking positions and when the driving unit is deactivated.

    • A locking device for a lock cylinder (12) has an electronically controlled inhibiting element (2), which in an inhibit position (xS) blocks movement of a rotor (1) relative to a stator (6) and frees the rotor (1) in a free position (xF). A drive (9) exerts a working force (FA) on the inhibiting element (2), by which inhibiting element (2) can be reversibly transferred from the inhibit position (xS) into the free position (xF) and vice versa. A guide (52-57) is connected to the drive (9) and, at least outside the free position (xF), clearly defines the position of the inhibiting element (2). A restoring device (3) exerts a restoring force (FR) directed away from the free position (xF) on the inhibiting element (2), when that element is between the free position (xF) and a rest position (xO). In the rest position (xO) and in positions between the rest position (xO) and the free position (xF), the inhibiting element inhibits movement of the rotor (1). The locking device is resistant to external, undesired vibration and/or shock effects or magnetic action.

    • The invention relates to an actuation device for a flap mounted moveably on a component between a closed position and an opened position, in particular for a flap mounted moveably on a housing of an automobile, comprising: a first actuation part and a second actuation part, wherein the first actuation part is to be fastened on the flap and is moved together with the flap when the flap is moved between the closed position and the opened position, and wherein the second actuation part is to be fastened on the component, locking means with a locking reception provided on the first or second actuation part and a locking element provided on the other of first or second actuation part, wherein the locking element engages in the locking reception upon a movement of the first actuation part with the flap from its opened position into its closed position, whereby the locking element holds the first actuation part against a spring pretension in a locking position on the second actuation part, and a remote unlocking device, wherein the remote unlocking device comprises drive means, which can be actuated from a place distant from the actuation parts such that the locking element is retracted from the locking reception, whereby the first actuation part, driven by the spring pretension, disengages from the second actuation part and moves together with the flap at least partially into its opened position.
