    • A feature of the present invention is it is adaptable to any pre-existing storm catch basin system. Another feature of the present invention is that it permits empirical analysis and verification of the draw down rate. Another feature is the present invention can be adjusted or modified to increase or decrease the rate of draw down after it has been installed to insure regulatory conditions are precisely met without difficulty. Changes in future regulatory draw down rates can be easily implemented.A flow restriction device has an orifice plate, the orifice plate having a frontal surface area A and at least one opening for the passage of fluid of an area Oa, wherein Oa is less than A. The flow restriction device may also employ a screen debris plate, the screen debris plate having a plurality of spaced openings for the passage of fluid; the sum area of the openings being ΣOsp wherein ΣOsp is greater than Oa.

    • An assembly and method of joining a pipe with a catch basin, the catch basin having an apertured side wall, the assembly and method including providing an elastomeric ring having an annular hollow expansion space, a foam injection port, a flow checking inflation valve for resesting fluid back flow within the foam injection port, and having a slide stop extending outwardly from the elastomeric ring; inserting the elastomeric ring into the catch basin's aperture; inserting an end of the pipe through the elastomeric ring; and injecting a closed cell resilient foam through the fluid injection port for expansion within the expansion space, the expansion driving the ring's annular inner and outer surfaces inwardly and outwardly, forming a seal spanning between the pipe and the catch basin.

    • A flexible gasket connecting a plastic or fiberglass pipe in fluid communication with a plastic or fiberglass septic tank. The gasket is an integrally molded elastomer having an annular base with a flange and keeper portions extending radially outward from the base forming a continuous groove sealing around the periphery of an opening in the tank. The keeper portion is tapered axially to enable the gasket to be pushed into the tank opening and snap-fitted into position. A web portion extends inwardly from the middle of the base portion and terminates in a toroidal portion to provide a primary sealing function of the gasket, and the toroidal portion provides a secondary sealing. The added pressure produced by the toroidal portion significantly strengthens the total seal while retaining residual resilience to allow relative movement of the tank and pipe.

    • A resilient compressible gasket having an embedment portion, a pipe engaging portion and a intermediate “radius” portion integral with the embedment and pipe engaging portions. The gasket assumes a “pleated” configuration when in the operative position, the pipe engaging portion extending through the embedment portion, yielding a gasket which compensates for deviation of the pipe from a nominal horizontal alignment without any reduction in the water-tight seal provided by the gasket. The gasket is sized to provide for easy insertion of a corrugated pipe into the pipe engaging portion while providing an excellent water-tight seal when clamped into position about one or more annular recesses and peaks of the corrugated pipe. Another embodiment of the gasket is designed to be secured to a cored or performed opening in a cast member through the use of an expansion-type clamping assembly. The free end of the pipe engaging portion is preferably provided with a radially outwardly directed flange which greatly facilitates alignment of the pipe engaging portion with an annular recess (or an annular peak) of a corrugated pipe.
