摘要： A method renders the surface of bitumen materials to be non-tacky, and minimize or eliminate the loss of the bitumen materials to traffic. The method may also be used on top of prime coat and fog seal, to reduce tackiness of bitumen materials from cured bitumen emulsions, and to decrease unnecessary and unwanted tracking by passing traffic.

摘要： A method for producing a roadway construction, including the steps of applying a random-laid web composed of an adhesive composition which includes at least one solid epoxy resin and at least one thermoplastic polymer solid at room temperature to a substrate including a bearing structure, preferably a concrete structure, and applying a bitumen-based bearing course. The method permits rapid and efficient production of a roadway construction with improved adhesion of asphalt to the substrate. To some extent, primer pretreatment of surfaces is no longer needed.The present invention relates to a method for producing a roadway construction, comprising the steps of: applying a random-laid web composed of an adhesive composition which comprises at least one solid epoxy resin and at least one thermoplastic polymer solid at room temperature to a substrate comprising a bearing structure, preferably a concrete structure, and applying a bitumen-based bearing course.The method permits rapid and efficient production of a roadway construction with improved adhesion of asphalt to the substrate. To some extent, primer pretreatment of surfaces is no longer needed.

摘要： A void reducing asphalt membrane composition for asphalt pavements that includes: an asphalt binder; an elastomeric polymer; a wax modifier; and at least one of: i) fumed silica or fumed alumina; and ii) a saponified fatty acid and a resin acid gelling compound. The composition is resistant to flow when applied and migrates into hot mix asphalt in the area of the longitudinal joint to reduce air voids to 7% or less and reduce water permeability. The composition becomes tack-free quickly after application. The composition bonds to asphalt, concrete, brick, stone and metal.

摘要： The present invention discloses a resin infusion type water-permeable pavement material, comprising: a basic bituminous mixture, waterborne epoxy resin, a waterborne curing agent, a toughening agent and a diluting agent; and the basic bituminous mixture comprises coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, fillers and high-viscosity modified bitumen. A water-permeable pavement prepared by the material provided by the present invention has excellent interface bonding capability, favorable road utilization performance and functional performance.

The composite fabric has a substrate and a plurality of first, second, third, and fourth strands disposed across the substrate and oriented in non-parallel directions with respect to one another. Binding fiber secures the aforementioned strands to the substrate. The composite fabric can be substantially free of more than three strands overlapping at a common position on the substrate. A road employing the multi-axial fabric is described.

摘要： An apparatus for treating a pavement surface with a plurality of layers in a single pass, including: a chassis having a forward end and a rear end; a plurality of rolling means spaced longitudinally along the chassis for supporting the chassis so it can roll along a particular direction of advance; a powerplant for moving the chassis along the direction of advance; a first storage tank mounted on the chassis for containing bituminous sealant; a second storage tank mounted on the chassis for containing bituminous emulsion; a main hopper mounted on the chassis for storing aggregate particles; a first mechanism in flow communication with the first storage tank for applying a layer of bituminous sealant at a predetermined temperature and application rate on the pavement surface; a second mechanism in flow communication with the second storage tank for applying a layer of bituminous emulsion at a predetermined temperature and application rate on the layer of bituminous sealant, wherein a thermal reaction occurs between the bituminous sealant and the bituminous emulsion so as to accelerate a material break and cure time for the layers; and, a third mechanism in flow communication with the main hopper for providing a layer of aggregate particles at a predetermined application rate on the layers of bituminous sealant and bituminous emulsion during the thermal reaction.
