摘要： A three dimensional cellular shade 20 attached to a roller. The cells 28 of the shade expand outward as the shade is unrolled. The shade is made from two sheets of fabric. One of the fabrics is decorative 24, the other fabric 22 is more functional. The decorative fabric 24 is longer in length than the functional fabric 22. The two fabrics are joined together along a plurality of joints 26 extending down the length of the shade. These joints are uniformly displaced from one another. The ratio of decorative fabric to functional fabric between any two joints is greater than one. This ratio is important for ensuring that the cells will expand outward as the shade is unrolled.

摘要： The lateral chain legs of ladder cords for Venetian blinds in accordance with the invention are formed with regularly spaced openings to allow mounting of the cord. This is made possible by cutting the ladder cord to the desired length and removing the transverse cross connectors at the end portions of the cord, whereupon the cord may be mounted with the aid of the openings in the header and bottom mounting rails of the blind and the ladder cord length can be adjusted to any blind length. When the ladder cord is intended for use with Venetian blinds of standard lengths the chain legs need be provided with mounting openings only at the end portions of the standard length ladder cords.

摘要： Present invention teaches a bamboo fabric shade that is woven in a weft and warp fashion from a plurality of bamboo filaments. An alternative embodiment of dual bamboo filaments as a single unit for the weaving is done in a similar fashion. Each bamboo filament has a high molecular mass bamboo thread inside a layer of coating wherein the coating is made to be thicker at a middle node section with the thickness tapering off towards the two distal ends of the high molecular mass bamboo thread. The coating uses PVC material, with optional addition of UV-absorbent materials. Such construction of the bamboo fabric adds to the reduction of light pollution when used for home decoration purposes.
