摘要： A yarn tension control device of knitting machines is revealed. A plurality of yarn tension control devices is disposed on a knitting machine for control of warp yarns while weaving the warp yarns to produce fabrics. The warp yarns can be metal yarns. The metal yarns on a yarn disc are passed through a guide holder, bars for drop wires, and drop wires and then entered steel healds and reeds. Thus a constant yarn tension over the warp yarns is ensured by the yarn tension control devices during a weaving process of weft yarns. The tension of the metal yarns is the same with the tension of textile yarns. Thereby a stable yarn tension over the warp yarns gives uniform fabric appearance.

摘要： A beaming machine (beamer) suitable to run any common width beam for Raschel-type knitting machines, having three beams or heads with individual traverse settings so that different yarn end counts can be simultaneously wound on each beam. Uniform yarn tension is obtained at each beam by a series of two rollers positioned between the beam and the yarn creel over which each yarn end must pass. An evenly wound beam is thereby obtained for each of the three beams. Doffing time is minimized by the tensioning rollers in conjunction with pigtail-shaped yarn end guides mounted on one of a plurality of reeds adapted for the various end counts capable of being wound by the machine. Yarn breakage is detected by the breaking of a light beam in conjunction with an air sheet generated from an air slit for each beam. An air sheet is directed toward each yarn sheet so as to blow any broken yarn end across the light beam and thereby electronically initiate a shut-down of the beamer.

摘要： Warp knitting machines of large working width are often provided with sectional warp beams, the bearing shaft sections of which are connected by couplings permanently journaled in the machine frame. Heretofore, considerable gaps occurred between adjacent sectional beams resulting in disturbing effects on the yarn feed. The invention provides a very narrow coupling rigidly attached to a shaft section, which considerably reduces the distance between adjacent sectional beams.
