摘要： A device for providing selective heat treatment on a metal sheet comprising boron steel is provided. The device comprises a laser source for emitting a laser beam onto the metal sheet to provide a selective heat treatment thereon, wherein a defined heat treated grid pattern is formed on the metal sheet by the selective heat treatment. The device further comprises a control unit arranged to control the operation of the laser source for providing the defined heat treated pattern onto the metal sheet; and control the case hardness depth of the defined heat treated pattern based on a temperature parameter and a holding time parameter associated with the operation of the laser source. A method for performing controlling the case hardness depth of a selectively heat treated metal sheet of boron steel is also provided.

摘要： A method for marking a thin workpiece is designed to prevent deformation of the workpiece. A plurality of lasers are opposed to respective opposite sides of the workpiece so as to both sides are heat treated. The lasers can operate synchronously with the respective emitted beams aligned with one another. As a result, the workpiece does not exhibit signs of deformation upon the completion of the marking. The workpiece is made either from plastic or metals and has a thickness not exceeding 2 millimeters. The lasers each are configured as either a fiber laser or a gas laser. The marking can be performed by lasers which are configured uniformly or non-uniformly and includes annealing, engraving and ablating. The marking can be performed synchronously or sequentially. The multi-surface marking could also be used to cause “distortion of the surface in a more controlled or desired fashion.

The process includes providing cold rolled close annealed (CRCA) steel sheets having in weight percentage, C: 0.03-0.07, Mn: 0.15-0.25 or 1.4, S: 0.005-0.009, P: 0.009-0.014, Si: 0.005-0.02, Al: 0.04, V: 0.001, Nb: 0.001,and Ti: 0.002 and heating the surface of the steel sheet to an austenizing temperature using a multi-track laser beam, where, upon cooling, phase transformation of the initial microstructure to a harder dual phase structure occurs. The surface temperature of the steel sheet may be controlled based on a comparison of the on-line surface temperature effect with pre-stored data representing the desired surface temperature effect to eliminate any possibility of melting the sheet. The development of the desired microstructure of the sheet, including measurement of the hardness level and the fraction of different phases, may be periodically reviewed.

摘要： A heat treatment method for a steel material according to the present invention includes: a first step of forming austenite by heating the steel material to a temperature equal to or higher than an A1 point; a second step of cooling the steel material heated in the first step, while keeping the steel material at a temperature higher than an Ms point, thereby causing the austenite of the steel material to be transformed into ferrite, pearlite, or bainite; and a third step of cooling the steel material to a temperature equal to or lower than the Ms point after the second step. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a heat treatment method for a steel material which is capable of shortening a heat treatment time while suppressing the formation of martensite.
