摘要： The present disclosure provides a recombinant herpesvirus of turkeys (HVT) and a preparation method and use thereof. The present disclosure specifically provides a recombinant HVT, where an exogenous gene is inserted in a spacer region between an HVT005 region and an HVT006 region of an HVT genome; and the exogenous gene is selected from a gene derived from the group consisting of a Newcastle disease virus (NDV), an avian influenza virus (AIV), and an infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV); the spacer region between an HVT005 region and an HVT006 region of an HVT genome is located between 8,867 nt and 9,319 nt of the HVT genome, and has a nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1.

摘要： The present invention relates to a live avirulent infectious pancreatic necrosis virus which has been shown to be genetically stable in biological studies. Fish exposed to said virus turn out positive for the virus without showing any signs of disease and the avirulent virus has also been shown to protect the fish against IPN for an extended period of time after administration. Thus, a vaccine comprising said virus and said virus for the prophylaxis or treatment of infectious pancreatic necrosis disease are also part of the present invention.

摘要： Novel infectious bursal disease (IBD) virus not protectable by the conventional IBD vaccines was isolated and a novel vaccine efficacious to said virus is provided. Novel IBD virus TY2 strain was isolated and its passage strains were obtained. TY2 strain has a distinct genetic type from those of the known IBD viral strains wherein a hypervariable region in VP2, a major host protective antigenic region of said virus, is cleaved with neither TaqI nor SspI but cleaved with MvaI into fragments of about 52 bp and about 422 bp. TY2 strain or the passage strain of said virus allows for production of an excellent vaccine to IBD.

摘要： A new virus not neutralized or bound by monoclonal antibodies which are group neutralizing to all IBDV vaccines of current art, and capable of inducing infectious bursal disease in poultry is identified, in essentially pure form. A test kit, and assay for the presence of the virus is disclosed, together with the vaccine incorporating the virus. A monoclonal antibody Mab 50, which neutralizes the virus, form the basis of an alternative vaccine.

摘要： The present invention relates generally to infectious pancreatic necrosis virus (IPNV) and specifically to further characterisation of the genetic stability of IPNV genome. More in particular, the invention relates to greater appreciation and understanding of the frequency of mutagenesis and codon interactions that influence the replication capabilities, virulence and immunogenicity of the virus. There is provided for the first time a method for developing a commercially applicable IPNV vaccine and a vaccine comprising the IPNV genome carrying particular mutations and codons. There are also described uses in prophylaxis or treatment of infectious pancreatic necrosis (IPN) disease.

Chicken virus isolates Texas RB 3, Texas RB 4, HBS, F57-7, W/L 39, GAR 1, and the like have been isolated. These viruses are some of the major causes of this condition and can be utilized as or in a vaccine to prevent the disease condition. The viruses are a significant finding in the search for a causative agent for proventriculitis in broiler chickens and as such may be utilized in the development of a vaccine or vaccines. The viruses can be attenuated to be used as a modified live vaccine or utilized in an inactivated form in a killed vaccine.
