摘要： A liquid explosive for in-situ explosive fracturing in low-permeability oilfields and application thereof are provided. The liquid explosive includes raw materials in parts by mass: a main explosive with positive oxygen balance, a guest regulator and isolation microcapsules; the main explosive with the positive oxygen balance includes raw materials in parts by mass: monomethylamine nitrate, ammonium nitrate, sodium nitrate, water, guar gum, sodium nitrite, a high-temperature resistant regulator with a low detonation velocity and a surfactant; the guest regulator includes raw materials in parts by mass: a reducing agent and a density regulator; the isolation microcapsules include raw materials in parts by mass: porous hollow microbeads, a pore plugging agent and wall materials of pressure-resistant microcapsules; the guest regulator exists in the porous hollow microbeads of the isolation microcapsules.

摘要： Energetic materials that are photoactive or believed to be photoactive may include a conventional explosive (e.g. PETN, nitroglycerine) derivatized with an energetic UV-absorbing and/or VIS-absorbing chromophore such as 1,2,4,5-tetrazine or 1,3,5-triazine. Absorption of laser light having a suitably chosen wavelength may result in photodissociation, decomposition, and explosive release of energy. These materials may be used as ligands to form complexes. Coordination compounds include such complexes with counterions. Some having the formula M(L)n2+ were synthesized, wherein M is a transition metal and L is a ligand and n is 2 or 3. These may be photoactive upon exposure to a laser light beam having an appropriate wavelength of UV light, near-IR and/or visible light. Photoactive materials also include coordination compounds bearing non-energetic ligands; in this case, the counterion may be an oxidant such as perchlorate.

摘要： Solid propellant systems include a main propellant and a secondary propellant in contact with the first propellant that exhibits autoignition temperatures of at least about 100° F. lower than the autoignition temperature of the main propellant. The secondary propellant of the present invention is most advantageously employed with conventional AP-containing solid propellant formulations as the main propellant, especially formulations containing both AP, an energetic solid, and a binder. In especially preferred forms, the secondary propellant will include a nitramine which is at least one selected from nitroguanidine (NQ), cyclotrimethylene trinitramine (RDX) and cyclotetramethylenetetranitramine (HMX), and a binder which is at least one selected from HTPB, HTPE or glycidyl azide polymer (GAP). Most preferably, the secondary propellant will include a combination of nitramines which includes NQ and one of RDX or HMX.

摘要： A liquid electrically initiated and controlled composition comprising an oxidizer, soluble fuel additive(s), and other optional additives to enhance the chemical or ballistic properties, or a combination thereof is disclosed. The liquid composition further comprises stabilizers to enhance thermal stability, sequestrants to minimize deleterious effects of transition metal contaminants, and combustion enhancers maximizing efficiency. Buffers and heavy metal sequestering or complexing agents may be used in combination to achieve the highest degree of thermal stability. Additional ionic co-oxidizers may be added to the liquid composition to stabilize the liquid oxidizer and further depress freezing point. The liquid phase of matter allows flow via pipes or tubes from tanks, reservoirs, or other containers, through metering valves, followed by ignition or combustion modulation when stimulated by electrodes, statically or dynamically.

摘要： Detonation control modules and detonation control circuits are provided herein. A trigger input signal can cause a detonation control module to trigger a detonator. A detonation control module can include a timing circuit, a light-producing diode such as a laser diode, an optically triggered diode, and a high-voltage capacitor. The trigger input signal can activate the timing circuit. The timing circuit can control activation of the light-producing diode. Activation of the light-producing diode illuminates and activates the optically triggered diode. The optically triggered diode can be coupled between the high-voltage capacitor and the detonator. Activation of the optically triggered diode causes a power pulse to be released from the high-voltage capacitor that triggers the detonator.

摘要： A non-toxic primer mix in which DBX-1 (copper(I) 5-nitrotetrazole) acts as the primary explosive portion of the primer. Furthermore, in this mix, boron carbide (B4C) replaces the traditional frictionator/fuel, toxic antimony trisulfide. In addition, potassium nitrate replaces the toxic barium nitrate (BaNO3)2) as the oxidizer, providing an ignition flame from the primer in a pyrotechnic reaction. The non-toxic primer therefore embodies a lead-free, barium-free, antimony-free explosive material that can include added fuels, sensitizers, explosives and/or binders.
