    • An apparatus (14) for moving rigid slabs comprising a first carriage (14) provided with pickup means (16) suitable for moving a slab. The first carriage (14) is arranged on a supporting assembly (18) so as to be movable in a transverse direction above a working area (20) via first drive means (22).
