摘要： A process for the production of books (22) with digital printing from signatures, in which the book comprises signature groups (33), each formed with basic sheets (34), are parts of respective signature sheets (42). The process employs a manufacturing system (21) which includes a transversal cutting equipment (41) for cutting transversally the signatures sheets, and transversal and longitudinal folding equipment (46) for the formation of respective signatures (48). For a book with at least a sheet section devoid of text and/or figures in a last signature group, the method provides: a) identify a reduced signature group (59) including a number of sheet sections having at least a page with text and/or figures; b) cut the paper strip (23) to separate the reduced signature group as reduced signature group; c) actuate the transversal folding equipment (46) limited to the sheet sections having at least a page with text and/or figures and skipping the actuation of the transversal folding equipment (46) for a single sheet section; and d) actuate the longitudinal folding equipment (47) for folding longitudinally the reduced signature group.

摘要： Provided is an image forming system having a simple buffer mechanism and capable of preventing paging disorder when image-formed sheets are fed to a processing section. The present invention is featured in that an image forming order of a plurality of sheets to be made to stand by in a buffer section of a conveying path for guiding the sheets to a processing section is made different from an image forming order of sheets that are not made to stand by. To realize this, the system includes an image forming section, an accumulating section that accumulates image-formed sheet for processing, a conveying path along which the sheet is conveyed from the image forming section to the accumulating section, a buffer section disposed in the conveying path, in which the sheet to be fed to the accumulating section is made to temporarily stay, and a control section that controls the image forming section and the accumulating section.

摘要： A sheet processing device conveys a paper sheet onto which an adhesive is applied, and includes a bonding member that applies adhesives onto the conveyed paper sheet at intervals in a sheet width direction; and a protruding guide that is positioned on a conveying path, downstream of the bonding member in a sheet conveying direction, and guides the paper sheet, facing an adhesive-applied surface of the paper sheet. The protruding guide is positioned between sheet width direction lines of the adhesive-applied position and includes a protruding portion protruding into the conveying path. With this configuration, it is possible to suppress the adhesive from being adhered to a device component even in a configuration in which an adhesive-applied paper sheet is moved inside the device to make a sheet jam due to the adhesion less likely to occur.

A buffer path section is formed so as to make the sheet temporarily stay between a first sheet discharge roller pair disposed on the straight path side of the branch path at a position downstream of a branch portion and a second sheet discharge roller pair disposed in the branch path. The sheet staying in the buffer path section is conveyed to the first accumulating section by rotation of the first and second conveying rollers in one direction and to the second accumulating section by rotation of the first and second conveying rollers in an opposite direction to the one direction.

An interval between the second binding section and folding section is set smaller than an interval between the first binding section and folding section.

According to the invention, a sub-layer (2) is held in a clamped manner by at least one lateral clamping device (12) which moves together with the sub-layer while the sub-layer is transported into the collecting position, while the sub-layers (10) already collected at the collecting station (3) are held in a fixed manner by means of at least one needle (13) which is moved upwards through the punched holes (4) from below. The clamping of the pliers is released only when the needles (13) are also located in the punched holes (4) of the newly conveyed sub-layers (2) as a result of the needles being moved upwards.
