摘要： Provided is a wound body of a commingled yarn, the wound body being capable of effectively suppressing fraying and sagging, disorder of a lower layer, or breakage of the commingled yarn during winding or use. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the wound body. The wound body contains a core member and a commingled yarn traversely wound onto the core member; wherein the commingled yarn is traversely wound onto the core member in two or more directions; and when the wound body is placed on a white substrate in a light-shielded space such that a cylindrical direction of the core member is upright, and light is irradiated toward a plane that includes a center axis of the cylinder, from a point that is moved a distance of a radius of the core member plus 180 cm in a direction perpendicular to the center axis from an intersection point between the center axis of the core member and the white substrate on a surface of the white substrate, and is further moved 210 cm in a direction perpendicular to the substrate face of the white substrate, linear reflection lines of a quantity equivalent to the number of directions of the traverse winding are formed on a surface of the traversely wound commingled yarn.

摘要： A spool assembly comprising a housing structure, a spool rotatably retained in an interior region of the housing structure, and a sealed sheath encasing the housing structure to define a barrier for the encased housing structure and the rotatably retained spool. The spool assembly further comprises a locking arm disposed outside of the sealed sheath and configured to operably engage the spool through the sealed sheath and through the housing structure in a manner that does not penetrate the sealed sheath, where the locking arm prevents the spool from rotating relative to the housing mechanism when operably engaged with the spool. The locking arm may disengage from the spool in a hands-free manner when the spool assembly is loaded into a bay of an additive manufacturing system.

For thread guidance, the housing has a thread inlet and an opposite thread outlet. In order to prevent direct transmission of noise through the thread inlet and the thread outlet, the thread inlet and/or the thread outlet is formed in each case by two separate opening slots in quick succession and a thread guiding member between the opening slots.

摘要： A device for pneumatically conveying and guiding a multifilament thread has a closed conveying channel which has a thread inlet opening at one end and a thread outlet opening at the opposite end. An injector zone having at least one compressed air channel which opens into the conveying channel is formed between the thread inlet opening and the thread outlet opening, wherein the compressed air channel can be connected to a compressed air source. In order to avoid blowing air from flowing back from the injector zone at the thread inlet opening, a return flow channel is formed in a channel section of the conveying channel between the thread inlet opening and the opening of the compressed air channel, which return flow channel connects the conveying channel to ambient atmosphere.
