A carriage is provided for mounting the feeding assembly, the carriage being transversely positionable in alinement with a loose ribbon resulting from the slitting operation.

摘要： A guide film supply mechanism feeds a guide film toward a winding mechanism. The guide film is a film in which a pair of supports, which is long in the longitudinal direction of a base film and is thicker than a product film, is disposed on both side portions of the upper surface of the base film that is formed to have a width larger than the width of the product film. A product film supply mechanism feeds the product film toward the upper surface of the guide film. The winding mechanism forms a film roll by winding the product film for each guide film. The tension of the product film is set to be smaller than the tension of the guide film.

摘要： The package support device comprises a hollow cylindrical rotatable winding core member possessing a substantially cylindrical support surface for the wound-up printed products. At the winding core member there is formed a ring-shaped groove extending in the circumferential direction of the winding core member and open towards the outside. Accommodated within such ring-shaped groove is a winding band wound upon the winding core member. The ring-shaped groove can be covered by a cover member supported at the winding core member. This cover member rotates with the winding core member and is displaceable in the direction of the lengthwise axis of such winding core member in order to expose the ring-shaped groove. The cover member can also be constructed to be rotatable in relation to the winding core. A throughpass opening for the winding band is formed in the cover member.

摘要： A supply roll of thin liner material for carrying a strip of resilient plastic material is mounted for rotation with the axis of rotation in a horizontal position. An arm is mounted adjacent the supply roll for swinging movement toward and away from the axis of rotation of the roll. A peel-off roller is mounted on the distal end of the arm and is rotatable for rolling engagement with the supply roll. The liner material carrying the strip of resilient plastic material is directed around the peel-off roller and over an idler roller located at a position such that a force component acting on the arm resulting from the tension in the liner is in the direction of the supply roll for urging the peel-off roller against the supply roll. This provides a regular and minimal tension in the liner while the liner is pulled off the supply roll over the idler roller and to a driven liner take-up. The diameter of the peel-off roller is small as compared to the diameter of the supply roll causing the liner to undergo a sharp change in direction when leaving the supply roll which facilitates the peeling off of the liner. After passing around the idler roller the liner carrying the strip of resilient plastic material passes over a separating roller for separating the strip of resilient plastic material from the liner.
