摘要： According to an embodiment, a printer includes a drop portion that catches, in a case where a diameter of a roll of paper stored in a holder becomes small, the roll of paper that falls from the holder. The printer further includes a plurality of support rollers that are arranged so as to sandwich an inlet of the drop portion and rotatably support the roll of paper PR stored in the holder. At least one of the plurality of support rollers is a short-width roller whose width in an axial direction of a shaft is shorter than a paper width of the roll of paper PR, and a void is provided at a non-shaft arrangement part provided at an extension portion of the short-width roller in the axial direction.

摘要： A rolled paper driving apparatus includes supporting rollers that support rolled paper in such a manner that an axis line of the rolled paper extends between the supporting rollers, the rolled paper having a core pipe in a shape of a pile; a driving roller that is pressed onto an inner circumferential surface of the core pipe of the rolled paper and gives force to rotate the rolled paper; a driving force transmission part that rotates the driving roller; and a pressing force adjustment part that adjusts a state of the driving roller being pressed onto the inner circumferential surface of the core pipe of the rolled paper. The driving roller is disposed in the inside of a triangle that has vertexes corresponding to the supporting rollers and a center of the rolled paper, respectively.

A base supports the pair of rollers and a wheel assembly is coupled to the base. The wheel assembly enables movement of the dispenser and rotation of the pair of rollers causes the roll stock material to be unrolled. The rollers are driven by a drive mechanism to deliver a free end of material to a workstation for processing.

摘要： The present invention is a method and apparatus for supplying components, via a carrier tape having a cover tape thereon and a plurality of pockets retaining components therein, for retrieval by an automated insertion machine, including a carrier tape reel support, a tape feed path with a peel edge, about which to peel the cover tape from the carrier tape prior to the component being presented for retrieval at the pick location, and a cover tape path preferably having a V-bar and O-ring drive system for directing the travel of the cover tape in a rearward and downward direction to facilitate disposal beneath the tape feeder. Such a system provides a cover tape disposal path that enables the use of spliceable carrier tapes on such feeders.
