摘要： A vacuum laundry chute system is disclosed. The system includes a receptacle, at least one chute, and at least one closure. The receptacle includes a vacuum device, a cavity for receiving an article of clothing, a container to surround the vacuum device and the cavity, and a door coupled to a side of the container. Activating the vacuum device seals the door. A first end of the chute is coupled to the receptacle and protrudes away from the receptacle. The at least one closure is detachably coupleable to a second end of each chute. The closure includes a sealing component detachably coupleable to the second end of the chute, and an activator mounted to the sealing component to activate the vacuum device in response to a pre-defined condition.

摘要： An automated method and system for transitioning a bottle from a horizontal belt conveyor to the entrance of an air conveyor, and vice versa, from an air conveyor to a horizontal belt conveyor. An indexer in a circular arrangement moves around 180 degrees clockwise until the bottle drops into the air conveyor (e.g., pneumatic tube). This motion controls the bottle's movement; otherwise, the bottle would free-fall off the conveyor. The indexer rotary device provides control of the vial transition, keeping it vertical so it goes into the tube in a controlled manner.

摘要： A process and device for controlled feeding of incoherent solid materials for differentiated pressure systems along a pipeline through the pressure of a fluid in the gaseous state. The pipeline is obtained by combining a plurality of consecutive trunk sections. The device includes a mechanism for intermittent feeding of the incoherent solid material in the pipeline, a mechanism for feeding the gaseous fluid under pressure in a plurality of predefined feeding points of the pipeline, a first series of valve members applied to each trunk section for intercepting the pipeline under control, a second series of valve members applied to each trunk section for allowing the escape of the expanded gaseous fluid from the pipeline and centralized control for closing the first series of valve members and for the concurrent opening of the second series of valve members. The feeding mechanism for the gaseous fluid under pressure can introduce the gaseous fluid under pressure in each feeding point of the pipeline when the first valve members located upstream of the feeding point are closed and the first valve members located downstream are open, and when the second valve members located upstream of the feeding point are open and the second valve members located downstream are closed.

In multidisc cartridges, through passages are provided to place and retrieve vials into and from the subjacent discs. A pick up device is moved until it aligns with a selected vial and the vial is pneumatically removed. A device is provided to reverse orientation of a vial moving through the system. A venturi operated system is provided including symmetrical bleed off ports to propel vials through the system without inducing excessive spinning of the vials. A piping system from a central bank to a multiplicity of analytical instruments includes a minimum number of through conduits and a diverter at each instrument location for sending the vial either to the instrument or downstream toward another diverter and instrument.

摘要： In order to ensure a reliable automated feed of connecting elements to a processing unit, an apparatus, in particular an industrial robot, is provided. The apparatus has a hose pack, in which a feed hose for connecting elements is contained as a supply line. In order to ensure reliable operation and kink protection of the feed hose, the latter is formed from an inner hose which is embedded in a over-molded hose jacket. This measure permits the integration of the feed hose into the hose pack without problems. In addition, the risk of the feed hose kinking is kept small.
