摘要： A belt conveyor and a method for determining an energy consumption of a belt conveyor on a basis of conveyor belt segments or on a basis of installation sections of the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor has at least one drive for driving a conveyor belt formed of conveyor belt segments. The belt conveyor has a control device, which is fed signals of a first sensor system for sensing the energy consumption of the drive and of a second sensor system for sensing a loading that can be assigned to a section of the conveyor belt and of a third sensor system for detecting connecting sections between conveyor belt segments. The control device determines an energy consumption on the basis of installation sections and/or conveyor belt segments.

摘要： A material management system and method manages and tracks the progress of excavated material transferred through an excavation site by a conveyer system operating in cooperation with an in-pit crusher and conveyer (IPCC). The material management system distinguishes the material dispensed into the IPCC into identified material batches. To track the identified material batches, the material management system records data regarding the conveyer speed and the conveyer distance associated with the IPCC, as well as possible other data regarding the identified material batches. The material management system processes this to track the indentified material batches along the conveyer route.

The method further comprises deflecting a leading end of at least one product, such that the at least one product lands in a second orientation on a landing surface disposed in the landing region at a second elevation. The first orientation is different than the second orientation, and the first elevation is higher than the second elevation.

The conveyor belt is an endless conveyor belt that is driven by at least one drive unit and that moves in a main conveying direction. At least one gap is provided in the endless conveyor belt free of interruption, through which gap the first light beams pass, and the first light beams form a scan plane in the at least one gap transversely to the main conveying direction of the conveyor belt.

摘要： Systems and method for remotely monitoring a factory, manufacturing plant, or other facility are provided. In one implementation, a remote monitoring system comprises a central monitoring station located remote from a food handling facility. The remote monitoring system also comprises a plurality of sensors configured to sense parameters related to operational functions of equipment installed in the food handling facility. Also, the remote monitoring system includes a facility computer located at the food handling facility, wherein the facility computer is configured to receive signals from the plurality of sensors indicative of the sensed parameters. The facility computer is configured to analyze each parameter to determine if the respective parameter falls outside a predetermined normal range and is further configured to communicate an alert to the central monitoring station when the parameters that fall outside the predetermined normal range.
