The lenticular layer is incorporated into the laminate of the flexible pouch. A lenticular patch is also applied to a surface of the flexible pouch. The lenticular image may be visible about the sealed portions of the flexible pouch. Since the appearance of the lenticular image will be distorted if the lenticular lens is bent or stretched, the lenticular image may be used as a stress indicator to signify portions of the flexible pouch that have been structurally compromised.

A spout extends from the container and allows food to exit the spout when opened and prevents the food from exiting the spout when the spout is closed. A spout portion of the container secures the spout to the container. The spout portion extends further than all other portions of the container in a direction parallel to the length of the spout. A zipper portion of the container attaches and separates the flexible sheets along the length of a zipper. The length of the zipper is parallel to the length of the spout.

The package is in the form of a flexible bag having wall portions defining an internal cavity and a fitment secured to at least one wall portion. The fitment includes an anti-blocking member which prevents the walls of the package from collapsing to block the fitment when the contents of the package are pumped out. The fitment also includes a valve which is normally closed and which opens upon the creation of negative pressure within the fitment as occasioned by the operation of the pumping mechanism.
