摘要： A transportation container retention device includes a main panel and an extension panel. The extension panel includes a bottom edge connected to a top edge of the main panel and is configured such that the extension panel can be moved from a first position in which the extension panel overlays the main panel to a second position in which the extension panel is contiguous to the main panel. In this configuration, the transportation retention device is operable to retain various heights of articles located on transportation containers.

摘要： The invention provides a knock-down, lightweight, thermally insulating, shipping container made at least in part from a polymer core covered by a thermoplastic sheet layer. In an embodiment of the invention, the shipping container is modular, being adjusted to suit the item(s) to be shipped. In an embodiment of the invention, the base, top panel and walls are made of expanded polystyrene core and combined with high impact polystyrene surface. In one embodiment, a mesh is introduced into the core to strengthen the core making the shipping container tamper proof. A shipping container bag that is light weight, strong, made of a fire retardant material and which forms an ultra violet light, weather and dust barrier can be used to store the shipping container. A system and method for supplying, dispensing, positioning, tracking, transporting, forwarding and storing the light weight shipping containers based on the shipping container bag is disclosed.

In one example, the fixing component is at least one of a fixing elastic band or a tightening band.

摘要： Lightweight, removable covers for harvested vegetative material, such as sod, stacked on a pallet are provided. A cover includes a top panel with side and end panels extending downwardly from the top panel to form an envelope shaped to fit snugly over the stacked material. The stacked material is arranged in a shape of predetermined length, breadth and height, and the envelope is configured to have a corresponding shape. The envelope surrounds the stacked material without enclosing the pallet. The length and breadth of each panel of the envelope corresponds to a respective portion of the shape of the stacked material. In addition, each panel comprises a flexible material that is impervious to moisture. An outside surface of each panel is light and heat-reflective to protect the covered material and an inside surface is non-reflective. One or more of the panels includes promotional and/or information indicia on an outside surface thereof.

Some cathode ray tube components, particularly funnels, are stockpiled so that assembly lines can be kept running even if the supply of the component becomes temporarily exhausted. However, these stockpiled funnels must be protected while in storage. The protective cover described herein can be fastened in place around a rack or pallet containing a stockpile of funnels. The protective cover can also incorporate moisture-absorbent elements to prevent moisture damage to the stockpiled funnels.

The side walls are joined to the tray bottom so that a plane of a side wall forms a precompensation angle with a plane of the tray bottom of about 3.degree. off of perpendicular.

摘要： A pallet-type package and system and tray therefore are provided that utilize reusable structural components of bobbins and trays. The pallet-type package has a bottom pallet layer on top of which is located at least one tray constituting the first tray layer on top of which is a layer of a plurality of nestable bobbins of yarn where subsequent layers of trays and bobbins of yarn alternate to allow the bobbins to nest through apertures in the tray. The tray of the pallet-type package positively positions the base of each bobbin in a recess having one aperture for each bobbin of yarn through which the top of the bobbin from the underlaying layer of bobbins of yarn penetrates to nest with the cavity in the base of the overlaying layer of bobbins of yarn. In addition, the tray also has material handling receiving means and has reinforcing means sufficient to provide longitudinal and transverse strength to the tray. The pallet-type package system has the pallet-type package along with a material handling means and a tray delivery means. The material handling means has a griping means to associate with the material handling receiving means of each tray, an attachment means to attach the griping means to bobbin top stabilizing means, the bobbin top stabilizing means having at least one channel per row of bobbins, connecting means to connect the material handling means to a mechanical focal point means and a mechanical focal point means whereby the material handling means can be lifted. The tray delivery means has a plurality of wheels attached to a frame to convey trays that are unloaded from the pallet-type package that are full of bobbins of yarn to the yarn utilizing machine.
