    • The present invention relates to an evacuation system (4) for a vessel (1) or offshore facility, comprising a storage unit (7) having a length, a width and a height defining a volume of the storage unit (7), the storage unit (7) in a storage situation being adapted to house one or more self-propelling, inflatable floatable units (5), the inflatable floatable units each having a capacity of more than 150 persons, and a deployment arrangement (8) having a displacement device, wherein a maximum height of the storage unit is 2.7 metres, and the displacement device is adapted to displace the one or more self-propelling, inflatable floatable units in a substantially horizontal and linear direction out of the storage unit (7) below the maximum height and subsequently lower the one or more self-propelling, inflatable floatable units (5) into the water in a substantially vertical direction.

    • A marine craft comprises an outer hull of completely spherical shape, an inner hull of hemispherical shape, universal bearings between the inner hull and outer hull supporting the inner structure in the outer hull and permitting universal movement, and a mass in the inner hull biassing it into a reference position. A plurality of spaced apart groups of four fins are provided on the exterior of the outer hull to procure propulsion of the craft along the surface of the water on rotation of the outer hull about any diametric axis. The four fins of each group are joined to each other in a generally cruciform configuration. The fins of any one such group are coplanar with a first pair of mutually perpendicular diametric axes of the outer hull while the fins of another one of such groups are coplanar with a different pair of mutually perpendicular diametric axes.

    • A new configuration for the present invention provides a marine rescue craft completely spherically shaped. A marine rescue craft having an inner hull and an outer hull with both hulls of hemispherical shape. Universal bearings and/or roller bearings fastened to such inner hull wherein are pressed tightly against such outer hull permitting universal joint, coupling movement. Fastened by means to such inner hull a device consisting of a wheel or disk mounted so that it can spin rapidly about an axis that is itself free to alter in any direction. The orientation of the inner hulls axis is not affected by tilting of such outer hull thus providing a stabilized chamber for such rescued occupants within such inner hull.

The Rescue Craft would take the place of existing life boats used today. The outer shape of the craft is ball shaped and houses another ball shaped sphere inside the unit. The second ball shape houses the evacuees. The inside sphere that houses the evacuees has a Gyro to keep its rescued occupants in a stable environment free from dangerous Ocean waves, Severe winds or Pack ice outside the unit. The inside sphere is on smooth rollers that press up against the outer ball from inside. The Gyro located in the inner sphere provides its evacuees with a smooth safe trip. FH2 1 Ocean Rescue Craft was designed to save the lives of its occupants even in the most dangerous of situations.
