    • An actuation system for a wiper stick of a vehicle is provided for cleaning the windscreen. The actuation system includes a plurality of nozzles coupled with the wiper stick and configured to eject a pressurized fluid on the windscreen. The actuation system further includes a fluid motor and configured to move the wiper stick on the windscreen. The actuation system also includes a fluid pump to provide the pressurized fluid to the plurality of nozzles and drive the fluid motor. The actuation system may move the wiper stick on the windscreen in a first mode and a second mode. In a first mode, the wiper stick moves on the windscreen due to the ejection of the pressurized fluid from the plurality of nozzles. In a second mode, the fluid motor is operated to move the wiper stick on the windscreen.

    • The present invention relates to a wiper motor drive system that includes a motor, an output shaft operatively connected to a wiper blade, and a breakaway clutch operatively connected between the motor and output shaft. The breakaway clutch includes a torque-sensitive releasable locking mechanism having a first position wherein torque is translated from the motor to the output shaft through the breakaway clutch to drive the wiper blade across a surface to be wiped, and a second position wherein torque is interrupted between the motor and the output shaft in response to a predetermined rotational torque differential acting on the output shaft, with the locking mechanism being movable back to the first position when the differential torque is reduced on the output shaft.

    • A wiper motor which can prevent an impact force from greatly acting on attaching parts is provided. A gear cover formed in a substantially inverted y-plate shape is fastened to an opening of a gear case of the wiper motor used in a rear wiper device so as to cover a worm reduction gear and a crank device. A gravity center of a motor part and a gear part is disposed within an area of a triangle formed by a first attaching part, a second attaching part, and a third attaching part, which are formed at three end portions of the inverted y-plate shape of the gear cover. The first attaching part is disposed on an extension line of the rotation axis, and the rotation axis is disposed at a position where a segment connecting the second attaching part and the third attaching part is divided into half. A wiper shaft is disposed on an opposite side to the third attaching part with respect to a segment connecting the first attaching part and the second attaching part.
