摘要： A system for reducing overdraw of power in a vehicle includes a power source having a battery and a fuel cell circuit. The system further includes an ECU that transmits a power limit signal to a vehicle controller, the power limit signal corresponding to an instantaneous maximum amount of power of the power source. The ECU also determines a battery allowed power corresponding to an amount of power available to be drawn from the battery to cause the SOC of the battery to remain above a lower SOC threshold. The ECU also determines a current battery power draw from the battery corresponding to an instantaneous amount of power being drawn from the battery. The ECU is designed to reduce the instantaneous maximum amount of power in the power limit signal when the current battery power draw is greater than the battery allowed power, reducing the current battery power draw.

摘要： A device operates an electrical energy store for supplying components of an electrically operable motor vehicle, wherein operating limits are defined in each case for one or more characteristic variables of the energy store. A control unit prevents the operating limits from being exceeded during normal operation of the energy store. The device has an interface for receiving a user-side request message from an apparatus, the request message including change information about an intended shift in the operating limit of at least one of the characteristic variables. The device has a computing unit which is designed, upon receipt of the request message, to check and permit the shifting of the operating limit of at least one of the characteristic variables in accordance with at least one operational history which is stored for the energy store and which represents information derived from one or more of the characteristic variables of the energy store about past operating conditions of the energy store if at least one of the following conditions is satisfied: information determined from the at least one operational history and representing the current state of health satisfies a predetermined criterion; and/or a monetary transaction initiated by the computing unit in accordance with the current state of health has been completed.

摘要： When such an abnormality that a battery voltage system voltage is brought into an overvoltage state during regenerative control of a motor occurs, a booster converter is shut down, a system main relay is brought into a non-arc state and turned off. Then, an engine is started when an operation of the engine is stopped. The booster converter is used to determine turning-off of the system main relay, and a battery-less travel is started thereafter. In this way, inconvenience that possibly occurs by starting the battery-less travel at a time when abnormality of the system main relay being stuck to be on occurs can be avoided.

The capacity of a battery to supply a large discharge current depends on, among other things, the recent charge and discharge history. When the demand can be predicted in advance, the vehicle is operated to aggressively charge the battery during a time period close in time to the predicted event. As a result of this aggressive charging, the battery delivers more current to satisfy the power demand without allowing the terminal voltage to decrease below a minimum level than the battery would be capable of delivering at the same state of charge following a period of rest.

摘要： An electrical energy storage device for storing electrical energy and supplying the electrical energy to a driving motor at different power levels is disclosed. The electrical storage device has an energy battery connected to a power battery. The energy battery has a higher energy density than the power battery. However, the power battery can provide electrical power to the electrical motor at different power rates, thereby ensuring that the motor has sufficient power and current when needed. The power battery is continuously recharged by the energy storage battery. In this way, the power battery temporarily stores electrical energy received from the energy battery and provides the electrical energy at the different power rates as required by the motor. The energy storage device can be releasably connected to an external power source in order to recharge both batteries. Both batteries can be recharged independently to optimize the recharging and lifetime characteristics of the batteries.
