摘要： A conductive caster wheel is adapted to be mounted on a cart. The conductive caster wheel includes a caster hub adapted to be sleeved on a bearing of the cart, a wheel body sleeved on the caster hub, and a conductive plate disposed inside the caster hub and the wheel body. The conductive plate has an inner conductive section and an outer conductive section. The inner conductive section is exposed from an inner surrounding surface of the caster hub, and is adapted to be electrically connected to the bearing. The outer conductive section is electrically connected to the inner conductive section, is exposed from an outer surrounding surface of the wheel body, and is adapted to be in contact with a ground surface.

Thus, the electrically conductive assembly will form a grounding effect to conduct and release the static charges produced between the two bearings and the cart to the ground so as to prevent from causing an electrical shock to a user when the user touching the cart, thereby protecting the user's safety when operating the cart.

摘要： A caster wherein the metallic carrier for a plastic wheel frame is connected to the conductive tire of the wheel by a multi-section conductor system having a portion in the disc-shaped connector between the rim and the hub of the wheel, a portion which is connected with the outer race of an antifriction ball bearing surrounding the hub, a shaft forming part of a fulcrum for the hub of the wheel, a wire in an internal groove of one leg of the wheel frame, the devices which can be actuated to brake the wheel and to block angular movements of the frame relative to the carrier, and a spring which connects the two devices to one another. The braking and blocking devices can be actuated by a conductive plunger which is non-rotatably but axially movably installed in and contacts the carrier and can be shifted by a spring in cooperation with a rotary cam in the carrier. The conductor system serves to convey static electric charges between the conductive tire of the rim and the carrier which latter is installed in the leg of a piece of furniture or in any other object or body to be mounted on one or more casters.

摘要： An obstacle moving device for a caster wheel is made of an electrically insulating material and is of two identical halves. The device is assembled without moving, stabilizing or disassembling the caster wheel by placing the halves on opposite sides of the caster wheel and then securing them together. A pair of roller assemblies inside the device abut the caster wheel so that rolling motion of the caster wheel pushes the device across the floor. Any obstacle encountered by the device is pushed along the path of movement of the wheel.
