摘要： The present disclosure provides a novel notebook system in which stacks of one-side-bound inner paper sheets are replaced, wherein a plurality of pockets are formed at a plurality of positions in an inner face of an outermost cover sheet, a first or last paper sheet of the stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets is removably inserted into the pocket selected by the user, and, therefore, the handwriting direction or position may be freely changed according to the user's selection. According to the present disclosure, the user can freely change the position of the stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets, and thus can make notes or handwriting in a convenient way. When the stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets are completely used, the stack may be replaced with a new stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets, which can save money and waste material.

摘要： A binding system for binding a set of media sheets, including first and second binder pieces, each including an end cap, a retainer, a cylinder and a connection mechanism. The retainer has an arc-shaped cross-section having an associated arc angle thereby providing an opening slot that extends along a length of the retainer. The retainer and the cylinder are connected to the end cap such that the cylinder is positioned within the retainer. The binder pieces are adapted to bind the set of sheets of media by inserting the set of media sheets into the first and second binder pieces such that the media sheets are wrapped around the cylinders and extend out of the opening slots in the retainers, and engaging the connection mechanisms to connect the first and second binder pieces together.

The adhesive is affixed to the back sheet. The binding strip includes a spacer adjacent to the heads of the fasteners, protruding above the face-attachment portion at least as far as the heads of the fasteners do.

The strip has a flexible substrate with a face-attachment portion through which the fasteners are driven, and a wraparound portion that is bent so adhesive on the wraparound portion contacts the back sheet farther from the spine edge of the book than the feet of the fasteners. The strip also has a first spacer affixed to the interior surface opposite the face-attachment portion so that a fastener area is defined, the spacer at least as thick as the protrusion of the heads of the fasteners above the face-attachment portion.

The binder is better than taking notes on a digital device because the notes can be taken and remain visible for extended periods of time without fear of battery depletion. The strip pivot can pivot around the center of the paper holding rings. The strip pivot is provided between the front cover and the backbone, has a shape of a thin plate, and comprises a plurality of holes that engage with the rings. The strip pivot makes an acute angle with the backbone when the paper binder is in closed state, and is substantially perpendicular to the backbone when the paper binder is in open state. The strip pivot and the protective cover are made from a single cover sheet of a predetermined material. The strip pivot is made by folding the sheet and bonding the two plies of the folded portion of the cover sheet.
